Tis The Season...

The merry season is almost upon us! This time last year, I posted an article encouraging folk to try and look beyond all the clutter and glitter and seize the chance to re-establish some bonds of friendship and family, as well as the hope that these quiet periods give us the opportunity to re-evaluate our view of the world around us… perhaps even opening the door to a larger and previously unseen perspective.

The article ended up featuring quite prominently on an “anti-festive” search engine called “Scroogle” and, as a result, my message became somewhat diluted by many readers who proceeded to consider me another addition to the ranks of the Scrooge brigade! The point is that some people get a little extra time on their hands during the season and proceed to be distracted by all manner of preconceived notions. The opportunity to get away from work inevitably places us in front of the old ‘Hypnobox’, bombarded by repeats of Disney mind rot and Hollywood carnage. Arguments ensue, the booze flows liberally, the food bloats us the point of sub consciousness, and, before we know it, it’s all over and back to work we go.

Many will jump on this notion of “the true meaning”. In reality, I’m not so sure there is such a thing. The oft cited “true” message is usually a derivative of a religious doctrine – something that I have no real use for. If this period is dedicated to the reverence of a religious figure who once taught us a “better way” or “saved us”, then I suspect they didn’t do a very good job! What do we fundamentally need “saving from”? The answer is probably ‘our self’! If this is the case, then we are easily capable of acting on it at any time. There should be no restriction on ‘when’ this should take place. As we know, time is the crux of this. Maybe this period affords us a little more. The “agenda players” know this and employ their corporate and commercial arms to great effect, generating ever more elaborate distractions to take our ‘time’ away from us.

As somebody who is largely detached from the chains of a conformist working life, I consider myself a little less affected by the machinations of the elite and therefore very lucky. This is usually quite a quiet period for me. Work is harder to come by for a number of reasons. This year, I have been fortunate to have a fair amount on my plate. The unfortunate side effect is that I’ve had little time left to devote to my blogs, on-going research and other truth related projects. It all seems to come back to ‘time’. I recently spoke to a couple of fellow researchers regarding the amount of time available to dedicate to these aspects. It does make you wonder how certain truthers seem to have infinite time available to devote to their various projects. I consider myself pretty good at managing my schedules and I still don’t seem to fit it all in. You do have to wonder how these folk do it…

Anyway, back to “the season”! It has been almost surreal this year. A week before the holidays, we have been faced with a plethora of news pieces centred on the fear mongering aspects of the 2012 phenomenon. I had a bizarre conversation with a passenger on the bus (as these encounters often are!) just a few hours before the predicted time of the so called “global apocalypse”. This chap had withdrawn his money from the bank, quit his job and even proposed marriage to a girl the day before… I couldn’t make this up, honestly! It never occurred to ask him why he was on the local circular (or where he was going!) so close to the end of the world, but I did ask him (perhaps a little, but unintentionally, condescendingly) why he hadn’t decided to do these things at any other point in time. “You generally don’t get around to things until it is too late”, he replied. His initial certainty gave way to a degree of reality when he mused that, if the world didn’t end, he had a lot of s*** to face up to next week!

Which raises the question of ‘time’ again - why do we put things off until the eleventh hour or when it is expected of us? Expectations, caution and distraction play a big part in it all. The ‘powers that be’ are real pros when it comes to understanding and manipulating these concepts. At this time of year, they are grand masters.

Encouraging people to see beyond the superficial construct is a tough one. All of us, who get a glimpse of the bigger picture, face occasions when we seem to be banging our heads against the wall as we try to spread a little truth. As I watch those I care about, tying themselves up in festive knots, I have to detach myself from it all. It seems the only sane option. My spirits are falsely raised whenever it snows. There is a grace period (especially if the snow falls overnight) when the landscape appears clean and bereft of all the modern clutter. There is a brief calm to these proverbial chaotic times. It is easy to forget, if only for a few hours, that the construct is simply masked and is still underneath, fighting its way to the surface.

The people appear and turn the serenity into a battlefield of snowballs and slush, and the brief tranquillity is obliterated. I’m sure there is some larger and more profound metaphor in all this…

This year, in the UK, it appears there will be no such respite. There seems to be rain, rain and more rain. If you accept that weather modification is real, then it is possible that even this has been taken away by the hands of the global players. It is easy to get us very disheartened. However, it is important to never let it get the better of us. The cause of truth is a just one. It never does any harm to give a few gentle nudges when we are in the company of others, and the time of the seasons is as good a time as any other.

I just want to say a big thank you to everybody who continues to support my efforts (you know who you are!), my readers (regular and casual) and anybody else who happens across my humble little corner of the net. You are the reason that I do what I do and I truly appreciate all your support.

Love, peace, truth and best wishes to you all.
Enjoy the holidays!

The Guide - 2012

Welcome folks and a very belated Happy New Year you all. Sorry for the lateness of my first article of the year. I unfortunately suffered some damage to my back over the New Year, which has prevented me from sitting, writing, typing… well most things actually! I am still in considerable discomfort but I’m feeling better by the day.

On the plus side it has given me the opportunity to do a load of reading, which is always a good thing. I’ve been itching to re-read some Orwell and Milton for a while and I’ve finally got around to getting through some truth related books: “Operation Hollywood” by David L. Robb, “The Age of Manipulation” by Wilson Bryan Key, Peter Reich’s “A Book of Dreams” (many thanks again Andrew, for the copy!) and a stack more.

I love to read and I always impress the importance of literature to anyone who listens to me! That said I’ve missed getting about, work, gigging, etc. I hoped to kick off a week or two ago, with some ruminations about 2011/2012. Whilst it’s probably all been said now, I can’t help feeling that this year will be the game changer.

There is something fundamentally important about the times we live in. 2011 was a ransacked year on multiple levels. The political and social upheaval was immense. Regardless of your opinions of how genuine or manipulated the Arab Spring was, the implications of Mark Duggan and the (ahem) “UK Riots”, the curious nature of the overall Occupy Movement (something that initially promised so much), NATO’s attempts to see how many nations they can topple in record time… it shows that the Agenda players are most certainly positioning themselves for something big.

What’s next on the cards… who can say. It’s a given that Iran is in their sights, some sort of manipulated economic catastrophe is almost certainly imminent and I would not be in the least bit surprised if the Olympics turns into the event of the year (in ways that we can’t yet fathom).

As for the whole 2012, end of the world, rapture, Nibiru, Comet Elenin stuff, I don’t know personally. I suspect it may all come and go without event… we’ll have to wait and see. It’s troubling, never the less, that there does seem to be some bizarre stuff going on. I was truly surprised to learn that there was, in excess of, 150 (6.0 magnitude or above) earthquakes across the world last year and, when you look at events like the Japanese Tsunami, it appears that this is not just a case of “business as usual”.

The animals were also behaving oddly! There were huge numbers of birds literally falling out the sky, thousands of fish washing up dead, species appearing thousands of miles away from their usual stomping grounds… what’s going on?!  Is it just a case of nature’s little aberrations (!) , toxicological, weather modification or something as yet unconsidered?

More troubling than ever is the rapid programme of social engineering and perception management. I am appalled, more by the day, with that which is being pedalled by the mainstream media, social trends and education system as “acceptable”. I’m no prude but surely it can’t be right for people to be so numb toward morally bankrupt behaviour? Whilst I am always heartened by the increasing number of people who are having their own awakening experiences (in whatever form it may take), there are also increasing amounts of people who are being steered to perfection. Their ignorance is staggering and their apathy borders on “not even spitting on you, if you were on fire”….

What state we will be in by this time next year, is anyone’s guess. Only time will tell…
I remain optimistic though. I was a classic product of the system for several (prolonged and hazily recalled!) periods in my life and if I can initiate my own process of metanoia, then there is hope for anyone! As for the future… we make our own.

Till Next Time...
