Songs for Chaotic Times - The Lowdown
"Songs for Chaotic Times"
What's it all about? I couple of people have asked me to shed some light on my intentions with this album. So here goes!
Much of the inspiration for recording these songs came from my frustration with some musical friends who ran a mile from writing and performing "protest songs", especially subjects such as 9/11 and mind control. "Songs" is actually nothing like the accepted notion of a protest song! I have always believed that ground level realisation comes from the simplest of things - like a story or a song. It is a difficult balancing act (in song writing) between commercial pap that says too little and the kind of preachy and dogmatic stuff that you would find at (for example) a Christian rock concert! In terms of spreading information, it also tough to avoid merely singing all the names in a telephone directory. Hopefully, "Songs" has proved the point that it can be done in a credible way. Ironically, I ended up having a number of musicians on board with the album.
Sadly, although I'm not in the least bit ungrateful, these were largely people with a broader perspective and slightly more open mind. My hope is that the album will encourage those who operate by the mainstream rulebook to think outside the box, and that these songs will awaken some larger truths in a few people. If I have accomplished even this, then the time and work involved was worth it and I can consider it a job well done!
Track 1 - "Lullaby" (00:10)
My original idea for this project was one of an over-arching concept album - a non-specific individual on a journey from the moment of realisation that "something just ain't right", through the depression and anger, and finally reaching some sense of clarity, awakening and acceptance. The whole thing ended up slightly maudlin though and ended up only being represented by four or five of the tracks that made the album.
This tale of a non-descript relationship coming to an end, as a result of one person waking up and the other in total denial, was planned to be sung by the female half of the relationship. I called upon Claudia Sterling, an all-round musical genius (of whom I'm very envious!) and a lovely person to boot. Claudia heard a few of the tracks that featured my preferred surreal soundscapes and subsequently insisted on having her vocals distorted to match the effect, as well as forcing me to sing with her. It is the one track that I almost left out because I preferred the original vocals. However, I bowed to Claudia's wishes... something most sane men usually do!
Track 2 - "Hypnobox" (02:20)
My awakened muso friend "Poxy" (D.J. Proxy) had not long re-watched "Tron Legacy" when we met up. We ended up discussing the questionable output of Disney and the like, when I played him a rough rock version (that I had already recorded) of this track.
The subject matter of the almost hypnotic nature of the mainstream media, particularly television, got him thinking about the world of "Tron" as a metaphor for the media, and the phenomenon of mind control. We talked about the film's soundtrack which was produced by the techno/dance outfit Daft Punk and ended up remixing the track as a homage to their style. He even recorded and heavily distorted the opening mantras of "consume" and "control" as a nod to the film "They Live".
Track 3 - "The Dream" (06:34)
The largely acoustic sound of this track was recorded in Stu's (a good and awakened musical friend) Skye Sounds - in an old barn actually! "The Dream" represents our manufactured reality and the rut we find ourselves in when we finally transition to something of an awakened state. The orchestral sound is all synthetic, by the way!
Track 4 - "Rabbit Hole" (09:08)
A short tribute to the film "The Matrix", one of my first "moments" of "awakening".
Track 5 - "Sound of Sheep" (11:05)
I actually wrote this song first of all the tracks and recorded the original version over a year ago. When I did my "London 2012" presentation at Truth Juice Birmingham, I took about fifty copies of a rough, four track demo with me to give out to folk. In retrospect, I was hasty including "Sheep".
I played the song to one of my former Who's Renown band mates, who describe it as "like the Bay City Rollers"! This immediately prompted an immediate rethink! After several months, I had retooled the track with an edgier, key-changed sound and largely new lyrics.
"Sheep" is the tale of a stunning looking girl I watched at Occupy London (before I realised what Occupy was REALLY all about) who seemed to simply ape everything that everybody was shouting - regardless of context or personal views. The song is also a larger reflection of the nature of movements and how they usually end up co-opted as "limited hangouts" and "re-routers of truth".
Track 6 - "Cities in the Sky" (14:03)
For most of my teens, I spent a lot of my summers on the East coast of England. My mates and I would spend most the nights on the beach getting (eventually) very inebriated! Around late evening/the early hours of the morning, we would regularly watch objects dart about the sky.
These objects would return with regularity, interact with each other and make manoeuvres that defied the laws of physics. we would often ponder what they really were. Were they manmade or from elsewhere? We knew it had nothing to do with the booze though! "Cities" loosely relates those experiences.
Claudia also added some subtle vocal textures to the song.
Track 7 - "Turned to Dust" (16:36)
The first of two songs about 9/11. "Dust" addresses the tireless work and extensively detailed evidence gathered by Dr Judy Wood in her book, "Where did the Towers Go?" The track also addresses some of the denialist, limited hangout positions of the so-called "9/11 Truth Movement".
Dr Wood is an inspiration to me, so I felt it appropriate to include an astute, albeit brief, soundbite of her from one her interviews.
The Harmonica on the track was played by my dad!
Track 8 - "Tuesday Morning" (19:01)
A muse upon the larger cultural zeitgeist of 9/11, as well as my own personal feelings from the actual day of the tragedy. There are also a few additional nods to the dustification of the towers, Hurricane Erin and the "no-planes" angle.
Track 9 - "Dumb Game" (21:26)
A general tirade against the power of the elite, the games they play, and how we usually get sucked into them.
Track 10 - "Cathy" (22:48)
Loosely based upon the account of presidential mind control model Cathy O'Brien, but more a general nod to all those who have been affected. I recorded the piano track at Skye Sounds, but the vocals were recorded at my home. I was never able to quite match the soundscape of the vocals to the piano. A few subtle organ sounds have dulled the disjoint, but I'm still a little disappointed by the final result. Hopefully I will re-record the song at some later date.
Track 11 - "Dem Boots, Bob" (25:18)
A tribute to the legendary Bob Marley, specifically the bizarre tale (featured in Alex Constantine's book "The Covert War Against Rock") of his death - involving the military and intelligence agencies of the day and a pair of boots he was given to wear on stage, which may have contained a prong in the heel, resulting in his death from cancer.
Track 12 - "Fade Away" (27:53)
Original "anthem" track for the concept album idea. Months in the making, with many fingers in the pot! The song is based upon the idea of manufactured "end of days" scenarios and the cultural fallout. Claudia and the incredibly talented Rachel Cavanaugh also recorded parts of the vocal choruses.
Track 13 - "Falling into Place" (32:28)
The "arrival point at the train station of truth"! The first half of the song is about reconciling perceived reality with larger realisations. The latter half is the chaos that pulls at those who are trying to keep it all in perspective.
Track 14 - "Song for Chaotic Times" (34:40)
A bit of a victory song to end the album, a mid-finger up to the powers that be, and a not so subtle dig at those who think that there is "nothing to see" and "everything is fine". "There are none so blind as those who will not see!"
My dad played the accordion on the track.

Announcing "PiSkyTracker"
Andrew Johnson has put together this brilliant kit for monitoring air traffic, specifically in relation to the Chemtrail phenomenon. Well worth a look. Here are the details pasted from his YouTube page and the video above gives a demonstration of its effectiveness.
This is to announce the availability of a "kit" to enable people to track and log aircraft flying over their location using a fairly cheap combination of electronics.
Contact ad.johnson@ntlworld.com or go through http://www.checktheevidence.com/
To make effective use of the kit, you will need a PC or Mac for initial set up and an internet connection to make best use of the main features. Following initial set-up, the kit can run autonomously using only a little electricity.
It will work anywhere in the world -- you just need the correct power supply for your country.
Background
For some years now, it has been possible to track aircraft flying over your location using such devices as the AirNav Radarbox and the SBS-1, but these have been quite expensive -- costing as much or more than a Laptop PC, which is needed to view the results.
Also online, sites such as www.FlightRadar24.com, Flight Aware and Virtual Radar offer tracking and aircraft identification features, though can be slow to update and somewhat cumbersome to use. Similarly, there are Android and iPhone Apps which interface to these online services and allow you, for example, to identify flights by holding up your phone in the direction of a plane in the sky. Of course, not everyone has an iPhone or Android phone...
The hardware solutions, like the AirNav box, allow flights to be logged but their logging features are not very flexible. For example, with the AirNav box (2010 version of the software), all the messages received and decoded by the box can be saved to log files -- but in a day, 600,000 messages may be received from all the aircraft that are detected, resulting in large log files, which need to be processed by special software to extract useful information. Additionally, for continuous 24/7 logging, things like the AirNav box "tie up" a PC or laptop which may be needed for other uses.
The Website and Phone App solutions don't have logging features of any great sophistication, so there is something needed to allow this logging and counting of aircraft automatically.
This is where PiSkytracker comes in to the picture.
Main Features
• Automatic Logging of Flights and Flight statistics
• Camera Support to Photograph The Sky every Few minutes
• Automatic Capture of Weather Data
• Comprehensive Plane Charting
Charting parameters can be set so that planes within a certain range are drawn on charts which are created every few minutes or every hour. Charting can be set so that only planes above a certain altitude are tracked on the chart. This therefore logs the paths of aircraft over your location (which is shown in the centre of the chart).
• Spoken Flight Announcements
• Data saved in Standard Formats
All this data is saved on a standard SD Card in formats which can be easily read and How does it Work?
The whole system relies on the fact that many aircraft are now transmitting ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance -- Broadcast) messages when in flight. These messages contain the following information
• A code number identifying the aircraft
• Flight Number
• Altitude
• Position (Latitude/Longitude)
• Speed
• Heading
(This page has a good explanation: http://planefinder.net/about/ads-b-how-planefinder-works/) The tracker simply receives and decodes these messages -- then software can be used to process the messages in any way desired. For example, you can count the number of aircraft which are detected in a given period, within a certain range and above a certain altitude or between certain altitudes.
If you are interested in getting hold of a kit, let me know. I will also be posting additional information soon. I have more or less finalised the software development, but may tweak a few things. Feedback, comments, ideas welcome!

The Music Game, Laurel Canyon & The Forever 27 Club
A few days back, I had quite a lengthy and in-depth discussion with an “awakened” fellow muso about the possible true nature and implications of the music industry and the power of music in general. It is actually rare that I have these types of conversations with musos. Although that might sound a rather conceited comment to make, there is a very good reason why it is sadly the case.
My involvement with musically minded folk has been an almost lifelong experience, with the intensity increased in recent times – especially since my exposure to some of the greater truths of reality. I know from my own journey that the inherent nature of music (particularly for those involved with making music) is one of somewhat blind adoration. Musicians give themselves over, almost altruistically, to the sounds, ideas and influence of their muses. It may not necessarily be in the form of peer-involved hero worship, sometimes perhaps merely taking the form of a devotion to the power that created music can wield.
Here lies the problem: the “power” of music. It is no secret that, more than any other cultural experience, music can affect us hugely. There is no other phenomenon that can so effectively move us emotionally, allow us to recapture moments and experiences from our pasts, reshape our views of self and society at large, and so on. The individuals that harness this power should therefore have a staggering hold over the hearts and minds of the masses. In certain hands, it could (theoretically) be the basis of the power to change the world.
With this in mind, one could easily assume that singer/songwriters and musicians perhaps hold the most authoritative roles on the planet. Of course, they don’t! Power is most certainly wielded here, but it is only in the hands of the creators who haven’t deferred their power to a higher authority and I suspect there are very few cases of this in the music industry. Those who truly take advantage of the influence of music don’t create music; they simply finance and control its direction. Given what I have come to understand of such entities, you can be assured that it isn’t for any beneficial gain of the masses.
You might wonder why anybody with a conscience would wish to be affiliated with such a game. I can only use myself (and my peripheral experiences on the outskirts of the game) as an example in this case. Recently, I have come to truly understand and appreciate the value of independence from larger influences (even from the influence of fellow musos who have largely been indoctrinated by the tired mantras fed to them within the game – “you can’t write songs about that”, “you should do this because it’s what is most popular”, etc.)
Examining the processes at work in the music community reveals two distinct phenomena at work. The first and more obvious mechanism is routed through the visible conduits of money control, manipulation of psychological constructs (fear, love, sex, death, that sort of thing), deference to (or engineered defiance of) authority and peerage, etc. The second is a far more complex aspect, rooted in the ancient practices of ritual, worship and sacrifice.
The effectiveness of music to the power elite has truly come into focus in the last hundred years, especially since the advent of “popular music”. There are some well documented examples of how this was superficially achieved in the past. Here, I am reminded of the time when Frank Sinatra became involved with the campaign to elect JFK as US president and the song “High Hopes” was given new lyrics to encourage folk to “elect Jack Kennedy”!
Although this is an effective method of persuasion for many, there will always be an equal number of people who see right through it. In the case of Sinatra, it may have been that some people just didn’t want to vote for JFK. Others may have acted against the influence because they recognised that it was, albeit in a simplistic manner, a case of ‘being told what to do’. This highlights the, ultimately, limited success of such a superficial venture, but also shows the surface level of a much more complicated mechanism.
A number of alternative researchers have examined the methods that have been taken in the past, most notably during the 1960s, to usurp the influence of music. In the case of Alex Constantine and his fascinating book “The Covert War against Rock”, agencies such as the CIA are noted as having large vested interests in the music industry.
“In 1967, an increasingly subversive form of music melded with politics in San Francisco. Still eclipsed by federal classification are the tactics of the intelligence sector in the destabilization of the lives of politically-tuned musicians on the fringe of the anti-war movement, as revealed before the Senate Intelligence Committee in a leaked intelligence memorandum submitted for the record on April 26, 1976:
‘Show them as scurrilous and depraved. Call attention to their habits and living conditions, explore every possible embarrassment. Send in women and sex, break up marriages. Have members arrested on marijuana charges. Investigate personal conflicts or animosities between them. Send articles to the newspapers showing their depravity. Use narcotics and free sex to entrap. Use misinformation to confuse and disrupt. Get records of their bank accounts. Obtain specimens of handwriting. Provoke target groups into rivalries that may result in death’ [Intelligence Activities and Rights of Americans: Book. II, April 26 1976, Senate Committee with Respect to Intelligence Report]”
Initially, it may appear as though the increasingly political tone of the music from this period of history was “perceived” as a threat to the establishment and that steps were taken to subvert, undermine, weaken and silence such purveyors of this music. This is, however, far from the whole story. Although there are many examples of musicians that threatened the intentions of the global agenda players (some of whom ultimately paid a very high price for their principles), not all so-called “politically active” musicians were what they appeared to be.
Dave McGowan’s incredibly revelatory blog series: “Inside The Laurel Canyon: The Strange but Mostly True Story of Laurel Canyon and the Birth of the Hippie Generation” paints a far more complex story that connects with numerous musicians of the time and is a highly recommended read for anybody who buys into the mainstream, “official” history of popular music. http://www.davesweb.cnchost.com/
This story examines the myriad of military connections to the musicians (and artists and actors) that lived in or frequented the Laurel Canyon region of Los Angeles for many years. The story also ties into the CIA controlled drug scene of the time and, by extension, the countless mind control projects that became something of an obsession to the US military and intelligence agencies.
One phenomenon that intersects these convoluted machinations of the music industry is the so-called “Forever 27 Club”. This strange repeated occurrence (usually dismissed by most as nothing more than coincidence) involves a not-insignificant amount of well-known artists meeting their demise at the age of 27. A curious number of these individuals actually intersect the Laurel Canyon story and also have ties to the military industrial complex.
Perhaps the most infamous members of the “27 Club” were Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin. In the aforementioned book by Alex Constantine, he says, “you could say that the CIA and other intelligence agencies may have had a hand in the deaths of Hendrix, Janis Joplin and then Morrison. Simply for the reason that they were leaders of a generation during the 1960s.”
Jim Morrison was the enigmatic lead singer of The Doors. It does seem something of a twisted irony that Morrison, who was a key figure in the development of the Canyon scene and subsequent Hippie / anti-war movement, was actually the son of US Navy Admiral George Stephen Morrison. Admiral Morrison commanded the US warships that allegedly came under attack while patrolling Vietnam’s Tonkin Gulf in August 1964.
The Gulf of Tonkin incident is a key example in understanding the process through which global events often occur. “Tonkin” is labelled by many alternative researchers as a “false flag” event, instrumental in the ultimate scale of the Vietnam War. In actuality, the incident was an ‘attack’ that never took place at all, all but officially acknowledged as a ‘façade’. The intent may well have been to provoke a defensive response, which could then be cast as an unprovoked attack on U.S ships.
How strange it should be then that the event, in which Admiral Morrison played such a key role, ultimately resulted in a large scale negative social reaction to the war… a reaction that that was partly led and influenced by his son via his music.
Jim Morrison died in July 1971. According to Wikipedia, “Morrison developed a severe alcohol and drug dependency that culminated in his death at the age of 27 in Paris. He is alleged to have died of a heroin overdose, but as no autopsy was performed, the exact cause of his death is still disputed.”
According to Dave McGowan, “Jimi Hendrix, who reportedly briefly occupied the sprawling mansion just north of the Log Cabin (Laurel Canyon) after he moved to LA in 1968, died in London under seriously questionable circumstances on September 18, 1970. Though he rarely spoke of it, Jimi had served a stint in the U.S. Army with the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell. His official records indicate that he was forced into the service by the courts and then released after just one year when he purportedly proved to be a poor soldier. One wonders though why he was assigned to such an elite division if he was indeed such a failure. One also wonders why he wasn’t subjected to disciplinary measures rather than being handed a free pass out of his ostensibly court-ordered service.”
“At the time of Jimi’s death, the first person called by his girlfriend – Monika Danneman, who was the last to see Hendrix alive – was Eric Burden of The Animals. Two years earlier, Burden had relocated to LA and taken over ringmaster duties from Frank Zappa after Zappa had vacated the Log Cabin and moved into a less high-profile Laurel Canyon home. Within a year of Jimi’s death, an underage prostitute named Devon Wilson who had been with Jimi the day before his death, plunged from an eighth-floor window of New York’s Chelsea Hotel. On March 5, 1973, a shadowy character named Michael Jeffery, who had managed both Hendrix and Burden, was killed in a mid-air plane collision. Jeffery was known to openly boast of having organized crime connections and of working for the CIA.”
Janis Joplin was an occasional visitor to the Laurel Canyon scene. Joplin and The Doors shared the same producer, Paul Rothchild, a man with numerous connections to US Army Intelligence. Joplin died a mere sixteen days after Hendrix was found dead.
Another member of “27 Club” was Brian Jones of The Rolling Stones. Jones does have a tenuous connection to Laurel Canyon. The period between 1968 (when Jones parted company with the band) and his controversial death in July 1969 was a time when The Rolling Stones heavily frequented Laurel Canyon. Mick Jagger has extensive Canyon connections, most notably obvious was his involvement in two “Canyon” produced, occult-drenched film projects: Kenneth Anger’s “Lucifer Rising” and Donald Cammell’s “Performance”. Cammell and Anger were key figures in the Canyon scene.
As with the music of The Beatles, Dr John Coleman (in his book, “Conspirators' Hierarchy: The Story of the Committee of 300”) has claimed that The Rolling Stones were a creation of The Tavistock Institute, designed to subvert the direction of the then contemporary music scene as part of an engineered “Aquarian Conspiracy”. I’ll leave you to decide the validity of that particularly angle.
The Forever 27 Club contains a myriad of disparate artists from across many decades. A few examples include:
Alan "Blind Owl" Wilson - leader, singer and primary composer of Canned Heat, Arlester "Dyke" Christian - frontman, vocalist and bassist of Dyke & the Blazers, Ron "Pigpen" McKernan - founding member, keyboardist and singer of the Grateful Dead, Dave Alexander - bassist for the Stooges, Pete Ham - keyboardist and guitarist, leader of Badfinger, Jacob Miller - reggae artist and lead singer for Inner Circle, Pete de Freitas - drummer for Echo & the Bunnymen, Richey Edwards (February 1, 1995 Disappeared; officially presumed dead November 23, 2008) - lyricist and guitarist for Manic Street Preachers, Jeremy Michael Ward - The Mars Volta and De Facto sound manipulator.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/27_Club
More recent notable entries include Amy Winehouse and Kurt Cobain. There has been a huge amount of speculation regarding these two individuals. Speculation about Winehouse includes theories on mind control and her knowledge of the inner workings of the industry. Her interview with Jonathon Ross where she claims that certain individuals tried to put her in a “pyramid shaped box” is particularly interesting.
Speculation regarding Cobain’s death will probably continue for as long as anybody remembers him. One curious tale involves the time he spent with the author William S Burroughs, shortly before his death. It is claimed that there are photographs of Cobain inside an “Orgone Box” (similar to the ones created by Wilhelm Reich) which allegedly belonged to Burroughs, although this (the box story, that is) may well be little more than an urban legend. There are images of Cobain waving from inside a outdoor cubicle, but this doesn't really prove anything.
Burroughs did actually have extensive contact with many people involved with the CIA drug distribution during the 1960s, as well as those involved in the CIA’s MKUltra projects. He also had friends amongst the Laurel Canyon set. His novel “Naked Lunch” is claimed to be a thinly veiled account of his alleged time spent on the CIA’s payroll. Make of this what you will!
Some of the stranger aspects of these stories (particularly the numerous deaths and bizarre practices of the Laurel Canyon scene) possibly indicate an occult or ritualistic undercurrent. Such practices are actually nothing new in music. Christopher Knowles book “The Secret History of Rock ‘n’ Roll” (which examines the history of music and worship) begins with a telling quote from The Natya Shastra: “dancing and music are more pleasing to the gods than rites and prayers.”
It seems altogether plausible that everything we have come to recognise about music today, has its roots in every form of ancient worship – whether it be the Neolithic, ancient mystery teachings, Dionysian, Bacchanalia, or any other practice. The question is: do any of these beliefs factor into the relatively contemporary music scene? The “Forever 27 Club” phenomenon may hold some clues to answering this question. It may even be possible that there is a ritualistic connection to the actual number 27.
Certainly in astrological terms, the number 27 (although most would argue that it is actually 29) may suggest the phenomenon of “Saturn’s Return”. The effect of the Saturn return, or any of the heavy planets, is said by many to indicate an major transitional period, possibly even a weeding out of what is unnecessary ready for the next portion of life. Even if 29 years is the more accurate figure at work, it may be that there is an “approaching effect” at 27. However, this is not a subject I’m really versed in to any great degree (I had to try and understand what little I could from a more astrologically savvy friend!)
The point here is the connection to Saturn and transitions. Firstly, is it possible that some of this derives from the practice of Saturn worship… a belief system that many researchers believe has darker tones, even connections to the global elite and secret society practices? In relation to the music industry, it might also explain why we often see so much Saturn imagery connected to contemporary pop artists and their music videos.
As for the transitional aspect, I have looked back through the history of popular musicians and singers (that didn’t die between the age of 27 and 29) to see if there are significant events in their personal or professional lives at that age. What I found actually surprised me. Here are just a few arbitrary examples of major transitions that I came across.
Mama Cass, singer with The Mamas and the Papas, recorded “Dream a Little Dream of Me” from her solo album of the same name in 1968 and subsequently embarked on a solo singing career. She was aged 27.
In 1973, David Bowie toured and gave press conferences as “Ziggy Stardust” before a dramatic and abrupt on-stage "retirement" at London's Hammersmith Odeon on 3 July 1973. Bowie effectively killed off his most successful personae live on stage. Shortly after his 27th birthday in early 1974, He moved to the United States and launched his soul, funk, “Thin White Duke” personae, leaving his glam rock image behind forever.
In 1985, Madonna became an overnight success with the release of “Crazy for You”, “Material Girl” and “Like a Virgin”. She even appeared in her first movie roles. She embarked on her first concert tour in North America, The Virgin Tour, with the Beastie Boys as her opening act. Madonna commented: "That whole tour was crazy, because I went from playing CBGB and the Mudd Club to playing sporting arenas.” She was aged 27. Madonna also started dating actor Sean Penn and married him on her 27th birthday.
Kate Bush became a huge globally selling artist following the release of “Hounds of Love” in 1985. Thereafter, she built her own private studio near her home, where she could work at her own pace. She practically retired from the public limelight, shunning the music industry’s main publicity routes. She was aged 27.
The Beatles effectively ceased functioning as a coherent band in 1968. John Lennon began writing and recording experimental material with Yoko Ono as well as his own solo material. He was aged 27.
Of course, these are just a couple of examples. I encourage you to do a random Google of your own. You will be surprised how often the age of 27 marks a major changing point or shift. It also seems to be the case for many movie actors!
So what can we make of all this? My gut (and a fair amount of evidence) tells me that there is more to the music industry than we may ever actually get our heads around. Is it possible that all these factors are just a great bundle of interconnecting paths and coincidences? It could be that what we are often witnessing is little more than the wild lifestyles of over indulgent individuals, whose fame has led them out of control, with all the rest of the high strangeness simply misunderstood coincidences. I do actually believe in coincidences… at least in small to moderate numbers!
However, I find it difficult to summarise the whole subject in such a naïve manner. I have often extolled my position on continually repeated coincidences and used the flipping coin analogy to illustrate my point. On this occasion (and because I’ve been discussing the subject of music) it seems fitting that I leave you with a few lines from a little ditty from Monty Python:
“Here comes another one. Here it comes again. Here comes another one… when will it ever end!?”
Peace my friends!

Lloyd Pye diagnosed with Aggressive B-Cell Lymphoma Cancer
Sorry I haven't been here much of late, I've been swamped again! I will be back posting again shortly, but for now I felt the need to repost this message from Starchild researcher, Lloyd Pye. My hope is that as many people as possible will do anything they can to help. I genuinely believe that his research holds one of the keys to unlocking the "bigger picture" (whatever it may end up looking like!) and, having personally talked at length with him, I find him to be a tirelessly dedicated researcher and a truly sincere human being. My most positive thoughts and wishes go out to him. Here is the message describing his current situation:
Outwardly, I am the picture of health, but in my upper abdomen lurks a tumor the size and shape of a softball. Its formal name is "Aggressive B-Cell Lymphoma." It is a fairly common cancer that is very amenable to treatment, but that treatment has to be as aggressive as the tumor or death ensues.
As you might have guessed, to do that I will need massive amounts of help from YOU, from each of you to the degree you can manage. I want to treat my cancer by alternative means, not the standard "one-size-fits-all" approach of chemotherapy and radiation applied with elephant-gun impact on one and all. That's not how I want to fight.
Instead, I want to go to an alternative clinic in Europe with very good success at treating lymphomas like mine. As with all cancer treatments, this one is very expensive, in the low tens of thousands of dollars. Here in the U.S. it would be in the high tens of thousands of dollars. Either way, I have to pay, and I simply do not have the money to pay those bills. To do so, I will need rather large amounts of money, both for the initial treatment, which is one full month, followed by subsequent treatments two or three or more times, depending on the kind of follow-up I will require.
The bottom line is that I need an enormous amount of help to save myself, and I am extremely lucky that I have friends like the people on this list who can put themselves in my shoes and feel sympathy for me. This is an ordeal of the highest magnitude, as I'm sure you all understand full well. If you can help me with this, and are willing to do so, in this special instance. I am asking for donations FOR ME, and to do that you will have to go to my personal webpage http://www.lloydpye.com/
HOW DID THIS DISASTER UNFOLD?
The following information if for those of you who want to know more about the details of how it happened. If you're pressed for time, this is not really necessary for you to know. It is my recounting of how it unfolded. Some will want to know this, many will not. Make your own choice.
On June 15th I had a special celebratory dinner in an Ethiopian restaurant. I drank cardamom tea, which is common in such places. An hour later I was in the throes of a very serious gallbladder attack, the first time such a thing has ever happened to me. I always have excellent health checkups, which kept me from believing I was having a heart attack, but the pain was quite severe in and around my upper abdomen, and it did not let up for four hours! In that time, though, I found out that cardamom tea could induce such attacks on those with "clogged" gallbladders, and it turned out that I had one.
After a few more bouts with my gallbladder, I went to my doctor on July 9th. He palpated my abdomen and very quickly informed me that in addition to a gallbladder problem, I had a rather large mass that didn't belong in my upper abdomen. He was very concerned and suggested an ultrasound. Fortunately, am now old enough to be enrolled in Medicare, so I was able to afford my 20% co-pay for this, and for the CAT scan that followed. There could be no doubt about it--I had a softball-sized tumor growing inside me. What was it?
A biopsy was scheduled for July 12th. An appointment was made with an oncologist for July 17th. In the meantime, my family and I convinced ourselves that it had to be a non-malignant fatty tumor because those have been known to run in one branch of my family. However, those were just under the skin, not large and internal. Additionally, I have always taken care of myself, taking vitamins every day, watching my weight, not drinking or smoking, intermittently exercising, and always getting "excellent" reports for my yearly physical since I turned 60 (I'll turn 67 in September).
I did not strike anyone who knows me well as someone who would be a likely candidate for a malignancy, much less one the size of the tumor I so clearly had. So I went to the oncologist thinking I could dodge the bullet, but the bullet got me. He told me it was a bad report, aggressive B-cell lymphoma, and I had to act and act fast to stop the tumor's growth and save my life. So that is what I'm determined to do.....with your help.
I can't begin to handle this alone. If you've followed me at all in these Bytes of Pye over the past few years, you know I live on a shoestring, very low to the ground to avoid charges by skeptics and critics that I'm "just in it for the money." It's their classic criticism of people like me because it works. If they can illustrate instances where we are trying to provide for ourselves in any way other than the ways they provide for themselves (writing and lecturing), they pounce. Thus, I have always tried to keep my efforts to writing and lecturing, but in alternative fields that is flatly no way to make a living.
Now my attitude is, "Screw 'em!" They can criticize me all they like. I have lived by their strictures as long as I could. Now I have to live by whatever means are available, and asking for your help to bail me out of this terrible jam is the most viable method available to me to accumulate the large amount of money I need in the shortest possible time. Please donate NOW.
WHAT ARE MY NEXT STEPS?
In only a few days, on July 29, I am scheduled to leave for England for two months, during which I intended to lecture around the country. Now I have no idea how many of those dates I will be able to make because I desperately need to get myself into a cancer clinic that can do for me what needs to be done, and everything needs to go at the fastest pace possible. Right now my tumor is softball sized. In only a few weeks it will be the size of a honeydew melon, and it will be squeezing the life out of the vital organs it is already pressing against, including my liver, pancreas, spleen, gallbladder (which kicked off my initial problem), and then my heart and lungs.
If enough of you respond with serious help for me, which I have to believe you will do, then I will enroll for treatment by the middle of August, and as I said, the initial round of treatment is one month. As soon as I can get my LloydPye.com website changed over to the new format, it will include a blog. Or maybe I'll go with a blog on Facebook. I'm still trying to resolve that issue. But soon I will have a blog going that will recount my experiences at the clinic, and I hope it will provide help for others in my same situation, to tell them what to expect if they choose the alternative route I want to take.
I firmly believe I can win this if I get enough support. As of right now, I am healthy. I have a good constitution. I have a good frame of mind. I have always been a scrappy type, willing and able to take on difficult challenges. This is, of course, one of any life's greatest challenges, a fight with Death.
I'm not asking anyone to donate to help me lose this fight. I'm asking you to help me win it. And I REALLY need help this time. Again, before all is said and done the total cost will be tens of thousands of dollars. I think anyone who knows anything about cancer treatments anywhere in the world will vouch for that. I live hovering around the poverty level. But not now, not any more.
I have to drop that life and take on a new one. My old life is over, and now I have to forge a new one. I have to become "a cancer survivor," and with enough help from enough of you, my Starchild and Byte of Pye family, I can and will do it, and you are free to follow along on my journey every step of the way. I hope you will. I think it will be quite a learning experience!
My heartfelt thanks to you all for reading this exceptionally long missive, and I know all of you wish me the very best outcome. I'm sure I can achieve it.

Alternative Goes Mainstream... Or Does It?
Ye gods! Those winged media minions of “the powers that be” have been busy little monkeys in the last week or two! The timing makes the situation hardly a surprise, particularly here in the UK. The Bilderberg Group have once again held one of their contrived confabulations where the “great and near great” sit around tables sipping their particular poisons and decide the next step of global governance. The most recent meeting occurred at The Grove Hotel, Hertfordshire (June 6th-9th 2013), so it does figure that there would be at least a smidgeon of token media coverage.
However, Bilderberg has rarely had mainstream publicity on the scale it is currently receiving. Whilst there was a time when this kind of collective and secret global strategizing was vehemently denied even its existence, in recent years Bilderberg has been acknowledged (albeit in a downplayed and dismissive manner.)
To hear those involved talk about it, you would think it was little more than a glorified gentlemen’s club, full of heady economic and political discussion (perhaps one or two whipping boys for the fun of it!) but not much else to write home about. However, we must bear in mind that those who attend are actually amongst the most powerful and influential people in the world, so it would be a little naïve to think that Bilderberg meetings are their “well deserved break” from running the world - an occasion where all discussion of future-planning and decision making are strictly taboo subjects…
All of a sudden though, the unthinkable is starting to happen. Representatives of the mainstream media are actually taking about Bilderberg in a realistic fashion. I nearly fell through the floor last week when the subject was raised on Channel 4’s political satire programme “10 O’Clock Live.” David Mitchell even went so far as to label the attendees (in a straight faced and serious manner) as “the elite rulers of the world.”
Interestingly, Bilderberg appear to have pandered to all viewpoints this year with the Bilderberg Welcoming Committee using their Press Office “to facilitate the mainstream and alternative media in their coverage of the meeting.” Actually the whole blurb on their website makes for amusing and telling reading material: http://bilderberg2013.co.uk/
Alex Jones managed to make a sizeable appearance on Andrew Neil’s “Sunday Politics” – a piece that, some state, has always served as a “credible” (although it actually is nothing of the kind!) discussion of current affairs. Even fellow guest David Aaronovitch admitted that Bilderberg is doing exactly what it says on the tin. The interview eventually descended into Jones’ typically loud mouthed, abrasive, tub-thumping – with mention of cancer causing vaccines and FEMA camps… unfortunate given that the vaccination subject is a very important one and makes one ponder the implications of its inclusion.
Although these subjects have always been a staple of Jones’ rhetoric, you can’t help but wonder about the contrivance and convenience (on the part of MSM) of the whole affair… this is without even mentioning the credibility of Jones.http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=YB7ZaK7Oa88
Furthermore, an even more curious programme has been advertised recently that begs the question; just what the hell is going on in the mainstream media? In the past, I have kept a watchful eye on the work of Miles Johnston and the abduction support group AMMACH. Miles’s “Bases” videos have always been a fascinating source of information regarding the extent of mind control programming and the possible capabilities of the human consciousness. Despite this, I have always maintained a degree of level-headedness when viewing these pieces – long before one or two of my fellow truthers warned me eye the material with caution.
So, out of the blue, there appears the face of Miles Johnston and others involved with AMMACH in a trailer advertising a new programme; “Confessions of an Alien Abductee”. The various trailers have included a man who insinuates that he has had intimate relations with an ET cat lady (much to the annoyance of his wife apparently) and a woman who claims that her abduction experiences seem to increase every time she has chicken for her tea. Here is some of the usual (ahem!) “coverage” from The Mirror’s website:http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/weird-news/ammach-britains-weirdest-support-group-1940401
The implications are obvious here. Although it may be the case that those who have been involved with the making of the piece did so with the best of intentions, the tone has been clearly established – let’s all have a good chortle at the loopy-loos! Without getting too uppity, I have continually maintained that it is a mistake for anybody (with serious issues to discuss) to be duped into taking part in any programming produced by the mainstream, no matter how honey-voiced the editor in chief may sound. I understand the frustration felt when the old hypnobox simply won’t touch reality with a cattle prod, but we perhaps should have learned our lessons by now. The BBC’s Conspiracy Road Trip hit pieces are enough to demonstrate the real intent here.
Never the less, some feel that we may have actually turned a corner regarding the current truth stalemate; that perhaps there is room to gradually merge the interests of the alternative and mainstream media. Before some of you get out your party poppers and noise makers, and declare victory, I will pose a few questions regarding MSM:

- Why is it that some issues are metaphorical plague carriers in the media? Why do they never address the energy cover-up (or Dr Judy Wood’s research) on BBC current affairs programmes or evening documentaries and satirical comedy shows?
- Why now should anybody care (in mainstream media) about the reality of the world? When did they suddenly develop a conscience or grow a pair of truth kahunas (and why)!?
- If they are suddenly concerned, why do they still perpetuate the tin foil hat wearing paradigm and why are many subjects treated as little more than comedy material?
It may be that a corner has been turned with regard the manner in which the media wants to be perceived (“a little truth can go a long way” – as it were.) We should always keep in mind what the media represents. There is no middle ground there. Some people will maintain that media control is far from all-encompassing and that truth does slip through. This is actually true, but these revelations are never delivered in a direct and straightforward fashion.
Any truth in the mainstream media is filtered through the lens of vagaries and metaphor, sometimes combined with misinformation, other times as nothing more than an exercise in deception and misdirection. The media does what it has always done and will never change; it programmes us. There is a perfectly good reason why intelligence agencies, the military industrial complex and psychological/social engineering outfits can often be found lurking around the darker corners of broadcasting corporations. It is reflective of the very nature of the mechanism.
Ironically, the movie “Network” once highlighted the parody that is the MSM. All is pre-packaged and designed for your adjustment. Whilst truth is an elusive and often ill-defined commodity, never delude yourself into thinking that you will find it beyond the flickering glow of the box in the corner.
Believing that you’ve found some truth there, leads to a very slippery climb indeed!
Peace my friends.

Richard D Hall UK 2013 Tour - Birmingham Presentation
In any given day, I’m sure I could give twenty four hours’ worth of perfectly valid reasons why it would be in anybody’s best interest to take their television set and throw it in the garden! That said, and I believe I have said this many times before, there is one damn fine reason for keeping the old hypnobox around: Richplanet TV.
Richard D Hall’s excellent show has been on the air (in one form or another) for several years now and has done much to awaken folk to the larger realities of the world around us. Delivered with an informed and level headed honesty, combined with a wickedly dry wit, Richplanet has enlightened many to concepts like false flag terrorism, the flawed monetary system, media perceptual management, free-energy technology and the UFO question. Richard has interviewed a myriad of alternative researchers including; Dr Judy Wood, Andrew Johnson, Neil Sanders, Ian R Crane, Rupert Sheldrake, Anthony Beckett, Dave Hodrien and Ben Emlyn Jones, to name a few. He studied engineering at Newcastle University and spent twenty years in the profession, predominantly in software development.
Richard has recently concluded a UK wide tour and I was fortunate to be able to catch part of this latest tour when he stopped off in Birmingham. This year, the talk was one of two halves. The first hour consisted of a round-up of the current state of global affairs, including several major examples of the main mechanisms at work that perpetuate the current “truth stalemate”.
He began with a brief look at some recent news and commented on the Woolwich incident only by saying; “without a doubt, MI5 would have provided the tomato ketchup!” The first hour was entitled “The 9/11 Cover Up, The Media and Money”. Richard highlighted the main problem being availability and reliability of information, with the central issue - the modus operandi of the mainstream media. Controlled by a handful of individuals, there is very little truth seeking in the mainstream media. He stresses that he doesn’t have an answer to this problem, which is why he puts out as much information on his show in the hope that one day someone will come up with a viable answer.
He admits that he has covered 9/11 (particularly the work of Dr Judy Wood) a lot in his shows, for a very good reason. The nature of perceptual management via the mainstream media is reflected perfectly in the 9/11 subject. Obviously many believe that Osama Bin Laden was involved in orchestrating 9/11 and he suggests that the evidence needed to present to these type of people is sometimes different from what is needed to examine the true nature of how and why the cover-up is orchestrated. Richard explained that this aspect of the talk would be geared toward ‘how’ certain parties have gone about covering up 9/11 evidence.
He, quite rightly, stated from the outset that the research of Dr Judy Wood (former professor of engineering mechanics) is the most comprehensive and detailed evidence currently available in the public domain. He also pointed to the seismic data and the largely undamaged state of the “bathtub wall” (the structure surrounding the area which includes the WTC complex and prevents the Hudson River from flooding the location) as particularly telling, as well as evidence that disproves all theories about the use of bombs, thermite, controlled demolition and mini-nukes in aiding the destruction of the twin towers. Her book (“Where Did the Towers Go?”) is, I believe, the definitive place to start if you want to find out what really happened on 9/11. Richard also showed some clips from interviews he has done with her on his show.

As Richard highlights, how interesting it is that (within 48 hours of the events) the BBC “think they know the mechanism that the towers disappeared.” This theory is still on the BBC’s website to this day. As he says; “compare that with ten years of research from a qualified professor of engineering mechanics. Five hundred pages, all the scientific evidence… this (holding up the piece from the BBC website) is laughable! I wouldn’t wipe my arse on this!”
He goes on to describe that the real evidence of 9/11 is classified technology that was used to destroy the towers. Moreover, it is technology that those in the know are still trying to keep classified. “They use it, they put it on display, and they say; right, there are going to be some people who will see through this. Like Professor Wood. So we’re gonna have to handle them.”
The 9/11 cover up is aimed at those who don’t believe the official narrative… aimed at people who analyse things critically. This has been done by creating bogus groups and researchers to steer those questioning the official narrative toward more conventional “explanations”. This is how part of the 9/11 cover-up has been handled. Richard also reminded the audience that intelligence agencies are well practiced in setting up fake websites, companies, and pressure groups, often with scientists on-board. He also showed how some of these scientists have campaigned with various groups to “re-investigate” 9/11. As he points out, subsequent “investigations” have been a whitewash so why would a “re-investigation” be any different?
Andrew Johnson has worked tirelessly to expose this side of the cover-up, having experienced some of the mechanisms of these groups first hand. He came to understand that certain groups and individuals were working to manipulate and muddle legitimate questions and research about 9/11. The evidence is documented in his book “9/11 – Finding the Truth”.
Richard also emphasised the importance of Dr Judy Wood’s RFC. On March 16th, 2007, NIST logged the receipt of a Request for Correction (RFC) to their WTC reports by Dr Wood. Her RFC laid out the evidence of one or more Directed Energy Weapons being used to destroy most or all of the WTC Complex. Any scientist can submit a Request for Correction. Dr Judy Wood challenged NIST’s report, which subsequently knocked it back. Dr Wood appealed against the decision not to include her RFC. The appeal was also knocked back.
As Richard illustrates, “the only avenue open to a scientist then is to take legal action. To sue the contractors who were involved in writing that report for science fraud - which is what Dr Wood did. She took it to a local court, the judge threw it out and he came up with ridiculous comments about the moon landings. Then she paid $5,000 (for document preparation) to have it heard at the appeal court, but the appeal was denied. Then she took it to the Supreme Court. So the point is that she’s taken it to every court in the land (United States) to try and get this evidence in. You’re probably not going to win against the government if the government have had a hand in it in the first place. So the point is, she was prepared to put her evidence in a court and take it through every legal process.”
Interestingly, on April 12th, 2007 (just a few weeks after she submitted her first RFC), Dr Steven Jones, Kevin Ryan and Richard Gage submitted a RFC to NIST’s WTC reports. These three individuals were promoting the ‘thermite’ theory. Richard noted that Dr Steven Jones was involved in covering up a discovery in 1989 which (had it been developed at the time) would have now seen us “driving around in cars NOT powered by petrol… it was one of the most important discoveries of the 20th century. This guy, Steven E. Jones, was instrumental in covering that up.”
In Richard’s words; “This group, in my opinion, have only challenged the government report because they’ve seen that Judy Wood has… Their RFC does not mention thermite in the content of their research, but only as an arbitrary example of a hypothetical analogy. In other words they were being extremely tentative about saying; yes, we think it was thermite. They didn’t really say that. They did not take it to court either. They didn’t take legal action which is what Dr Judy Wood did. They didn’t take it to the local court. They didn’t take it to the appeal court. They didn’t take it to the Supreme Court. So they weren’t prepared to stand in a court and say ‘we think bombs or thermite destroyed these towers.’ You have got to put that in mind when you’re deciding who you think is actually speaking the truth here.”
He also discussed Abraham Rodriguez who wrote to Richard Gage of Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth regarding Dr Judy Wood’s research. Rodriguez had supported the AE911 group’s petition for a “New Investigation”, but his name was “silently” deleted from the petition after he wrote to Gage. Rodriguez subsequently challenged Gage on this issue at one of his talks, raising the magnetometer information, the patterns of destruction at the WTC Complex, the Bathtub Wall, and so on. Gage replied; “I’m not gonna present every piece of evidence out there that I can’t explain. What good would that do me or you!?” Rodriguez also asked him why he hadn’t presented the thermite perspective in a court of law (relating to the RFC). He replied; “We are Architects and Engineers! We have produced the evidence for you to do whatever you want to do with it!” He then starts to talk about his time and what he earns and finally says that this kind of questioning confuses people and distracts them from “evidence that we believe is more solid….” He also says that “we do censor people’s profiles.”

Richard then discussed the Horsham Hearing in February 2013. This involved an individual named Tony Rooke who wasn’t happy with how the BBC covered the events of 9/11, so he decided not to pay his TV license in protest. Richard believes that Rooke has been misled in some manner. At the hearing, roughly one hundred people turned up in support.
He quite rightly observed that real change on these issues can only occur if we can reclaim some control over mainstream media output. He admits that in the early days of his TV show, he was quite naïve in believing that the sheer weight and validity of certain areas of research would undoubtedly filter through to the mainstream. He says; “I have come to the conclusion that I could have George Bush sitting on my sofa saying that 9/11 was an inside job and it still wouldn’t get in the mainstream media, honestly!” He says that there is a wall that blocks information moving from independent media to the mainstream.
One of the main aspects that appears to have reared its head currently, is (as Richard calls it) “The Phoney Bone of Contention”. This is a contrived controversy over two seemingly opposing viewpoints, encouraged in order to divert attention away from a third viewpoint which is being concealed. Sometimes controversy and discussion over two seemingly opposing viewpoints is encouraged, in order to reinforce credibility of a subtextual issue, which is itself a fake construct. A good example of the latter point is the mainstream approach to 7/7.

Richard cites the BBC’s “Question Time” (or “Questionable Time” as he puts it!) as a perfect example of “The Phoney Bone of Contention”. The choices of two opposing viewpoints are spoon fed to us (much like the farcical “choosing” of political parties to vote into government), completely sidestepping the larger issue.
The political framework was touched upon at this point, with the larger mechanism of money as the central issue. Here, he clarifies the real solutions to “economic woes”: end fractional reserve banking, end the use of the usury system, and allow governments to issue currency – rather the current system of borrowing it. He highlights another problem for humanity, which is the amount of time and money it takes to accumulate “stuff”. How much stuff do we really need? Our desire for “stuff” has been artificially inflated requiring larger amounts of money and therefore more time spent working to earn the money for the “stuff”. This why we have so little spare time and ultimately why we have so little time to stop and think about the predicament or truly how to get out of it. Free time gives us the opportunity to think, critically analyse and learn.
He also underlines the problem by exposing the mentality of ruling elites - quoting Zbigniew Brzezinski (from his 1969 book: Between Two Ages: America’s Role in the Technotronic Era); “The challenge for government in the future will be to prevent man from effectively discovering his true self, and keeping humanity locked in consumerist materialism.”
Richard also took the opportunity to quickly look over the testimony of Lisa French and the tragic shooting in the face of P.C. David Rathband. He looked at this subject in depth in last year’s talk and is a subject worthy of a talk in its own right.
Richard also redressed some of the research of alternative historians Alan Wilson and Baram Blackett and talked about a £50,000 reward which has been made available by one of their supporters, to anyone who can provide information that leads to a conviction for the attempted murder of Baram Blackett on Sunday 14th August, 2011.

The second hour of the talk was an analysis of his latest investigation into some of the UK’s more recent UFO sightings, including emphasis on the bizarre “black triangle” phenomenon. Much of this work has been collected together for his latest documentary film; “Almost Identified Flying Objects” and includes witness testimony and interviews with a number of those people involved. These sightings consist of over 350 reports that have been received by Richard over the last two and a half years. “Without any doubt there are silent, aerial vehicles, some of them triangular, some of them huge proportions, in our skies which are not being flown from UK military bases.” Interestingly, Richard put out the blurb for the film on his website on the 10th May.
On the 14th May, the Mail Online published an article (including images and a video): “US stealth drones launched from aircraft carrier by remote control.” He expounded how this article would have been sanctioned (probably put out) by the UK’s Ministry of Defence to make people aware that craft of this type are being flown from aircraft carriers. In the images, the technicians are wearing earmuffs; this is because the craft has a large and very loud jet engine. Perhaps less than coincidentally, the craft appears triangular in shape. Richard maintains that this has been put out there to “muddy the waters”, a kind of plausible deniability, especially if you look at the testimonies he has investigated for the film.
The initial volume of reports he received was immediately halved given that they could easily be explained as misidentified Chinese lanterns and remote control model aircraft type devices. Some of these latter devices are capable of extraordinary manoeuvrability with some enthusiasts even attaching coloured L.E.D. lights to them so they can be flown at night.
“Probably the most controversial aspect of the UFO subject is whether or not some UFOs are non-human in origin. And people who won’t entertain that view generally use the argument; ‘well, it’s much too far to the nearest star (four light years away) and no one can travel anywhere near the speed of light so it would be impossible for them to get here. Why wouldn’t they just land on The White House lawn?’ These are the sort of arguments people use. They’re pretty narrow-minded arguments because they assume that we know everything about physics and we know everything about the universe… and we definitely don’t. The other thing it ignores is the possibility that they are closer than we think, that there may be bases in the solar system or even on the earth.”
Richard also addressed the possibility of collaboration between possible ETs and terrestrial branches of the military and intelligence agencies. He looked at some of the witness testimony of the Roswell event as an example of where this collaboration may have originated. Certainly there is evidence showing that elements of whatever crashed in 1947 ended up in the hands of various branches of the military / industrial complex. He also mentioned Bob Lazar who claims to have witnessed nine craft being stored at S4 near Area 51. Lazar’s job was allegedly to try and decipher the propulsion system of one of the craft. Lazar’s story has recently been corroborated by a CIA official who gave information to UFO researcher Richard Dolan showing how he was sent to S4 under the orders of President Eisenhower. Richard also discussed the testimony of Dan Sherman who appeared to have once been drafted into a top secret NSA project involving “intuitive communication”, where he was trained to mentally mimic certain tones eventually allowing him to interface his mind with technology and control it. There was no technological interface and appears to have been one of an almost “psychic” nature.
Michael Schratt (Aerospace historian) was also mentioned. He has documented numerous cases of “secret aircraft”, most of which covers declassified craft built by Lockheed Skunk Works during the 1980s. In his research, Schratt discusses the TAV low-Earth orbital craft, amongst other examples and also covers the TR3B. Richard says that many people dismiss the idea of ET UFOs as sightings of experimental aircraft. Some people ask why test craft would be flown over civilian populations centres in the UK. It was revealed that a US top secret spy plane crashed at the Boskam Down experimental aircraft base in Hampshire in 1994. There was also an experimental aircraft crash in East Germany in 1989. This does explain many aspects of the phenomenon, although as Richard says, “it doesn’t explain all of them.”
The case files used in his documentary film were gathered between August 2010 and December 2012. There were initially 350 reports - 188 were discarded as explainable or didn’t have enough information to warrant investigation, whilst 162 remained in the database. Of the 162, he was able to conduct 25 lengthy telephone interviews and interview 12 on film. As part of the research, he also interviewed three prominent UFO researchers: Dave Hodrien, Gary Heseltine and John Hanson (the latter two are retired police detectives.)
The 162 reports were broken down into four categories: Spheres, Black Triangles, Discs/Saucers, and others. The most common was the sphere – broken into categories of small (football sized), medium (bigger than a car), large (bigger than a house) and multiple spheres. Some of these appeared metallic in form; others had the consistency of glowing balls of energy. The triangle sightings fell into two categories: the typical size being described as “the size of a football pitch”; with the others smaller. There was a number of what he calls “classic flying saucer” cases- categorised as either small or large.
Many of the triangle sightings were black in colour, usually silent, often with a number of “lights” on the corners or along the edges. Richard described how triangle sightings became more prominent from the late 1970s onward, with a “flap” in the Hudson Valley region of New York State in 1981. There was also an infamous spate of sightings in Belgium in 1990, some photographed in relatively high quality. F16 fighter jets were scrambled by the Belgium Air Force to try and intercept these craft but were outmanoeuvred in every case. Professor Emile Schweitzer, one of Belgium’s leading radar experts examined the aircraft data and concluded that these were real returns from real objects moving around the sky. One case recorded a craft doing a full speed sharp 90 degree angle turn upwards. If a craft moving in a normal Newtonian manner had tried doing such a thing, the acceleration (a turn a 30gs) would have instantly killed anybody inside the craft. Schweitzer concluded that he didn’t know how that could have been done with the then currently “known” level of technology. Schweitzer was asked to meet with MoD officials and a video interview was recorded with him.
In 1988, there was a “flap” in Staffordshire (my corner of the world and I remember it well!), specifically Cannock Chase. In 1997, there was another prominent case in Sheffield. Evidence shows, again, that UK military fighter jets were scrambled to intercept. There is evidence that one of the chase planes in this incident actually crashed on or near Howden Moor.
Richard then showed the video witness testimonies included in the film. There is a huge amount of information here, so I am just going to give an overview of some of the key factors. However, the film is well worth watching if you are interested in the subject. The film is available to purchase from Richplanet.net and Richard hopes to air it on Showcase TV (Sky Channel 191 / Freesat Channel 400) at some point during June.
“Almost Identified Flying Objects” -
http://www.richplanet.net/dvd50.php
The key aspect of the triangle phenomenon seems to be the lack of noise. In a few cases, a low pitch humming could be heard. Some appeared to be structured with “girder” like characteristics across the surface; others appeared to have no rivets or joins to the overall structure. They usually appeared to move at a very slow speed, almost as if they were “drifting” across the sky on a set course. It was often noted that there were no emissions or smells. Some craft appeared to “wobble” or “shimmer”, possibly as a result of some sort of field based propulsion system. Some craft were witnessed as close as 100 feet away. Some flew in pairs, groups of pairs, or overall groups. Many were described as “football pitch” sized are much larger. One witness recounts how a triangle flew over his car and he subsequently lost three hours of time. He awoke the next morning with a triangular mark on his chest.

The evidence seems to indicate certain hotspot regions in the UK. The West Yorkshire / Lancashire border region is one particular area. They are also grouped areas of sightings spanning Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire and Cheshire. Richard also drew attention to the mountainous terrain north of Todmorden, particularly interesting given the number of lakes and sparse population. Jenny Randles’ “Pennine UFO Mystery” was cited. This occurrence at Ogden Reservoir in 1980 has given a number of UFO researchers cause to wonder that there may be more to the region. Richard speculated if the reservoir or a nearby lake might serve as an access point for craft to launch from / land in a subterranean hanger of sorts. This also brought up the myriad of discussions regarding witness sightings of craft rising into and out of several Earth oceans and also the theories about the Antarctic region housing various bases. Richard talked about the various sightings over war-torn regions and showed the RT News footage of triangular objects over Palestine.
With regard to the sphere sightings, some appeared like small “ball bearings”; whilst others glowed. They often hovered low to the ground, followed by sharp changes in speed and direction. There is a concentrated area of these sightings in the South Wales region. The disc sightings varied in characteristics. They were usually metallic in appearance but varied in size. Their movement was fluid and capable of sharp direction and speed changes. There appears to a number of interesting disc encounters in Scotland. In October 2000, discs were witnessed across a wide region. It is curious that the witness reported that on the same day, a Merlin helicopter crashed nearby, as did two fighter jets – which crashed in the border region.
The remainder of the talk was given over to some of the more famous UK cases (such as the Berwyn Mountain case) and circumstances where UFO researchers appear to have been persuaded to join the Ministry of Defence or Intelligence Services’ payroll and start to muddle and debunk cases. On occasion, some have changed their views on UFOs completely. Richard declined to divulge names however, due the possibility of libel cases. Although he did say that if you look hard enough, you can figure out who they are!
The talk ended with a thought provoking perspective from Richard: with all the emphasis on gathering evidence (despite the efforts and validity of the current methods), it may be that we have missed a key factor that could lead to the answers. As Richard simply asks; “Where are these craft going? Where are they located when not in flight?” Certainly in the case of the oft-slow moving triangles, is it not possible to narrow down the area and find out for ourselves? Oftentimes, the simplest solutions are the most obvious! In his opinion, this may be crucial to finding quantifiable evidence and blowing the lid off the whole phenomenon.
Afterwards, Richard took many interesting and varied questions from the audience and even turned the floor over to Andrew Johnson and Dave Hodrien (who were also in the audience) for a number of specific questions. At the end, Andrew (Johnson) made the comment that he thought that one thing in common between the Flying Triangle Phenomenon and the investigations into 9/11 is that they can reveal the use of advanced, black technology that has the potential to change the world completely - if the reality of such technology was known and accepted by the general population.
The day was well received by everybody who came and, although I had difficulty in counting accurately, I have it on reliable authority that there were a good one hundred and thirty people in attendance. Despite the glorious sunshine, I don’t think anybody minded being closed up indoors for several hours – a matter certainly proven true given the amount of discussion that flowed over into the street as folk left the theatre.
All in all, it was a thoroughly informative and enjoyable day, and a testament to the hard work of Richard D Hall and Richplanet TV. Long may the show (and his work) continue! I must also say a big thank you to Andrew Johnson who got me there and back safely on the day. It’s always good to catch up again my friend! I am working hard on writing a book at the moment and I had the chance to discuss with Richard the possibility of my being on the show at some point later in the year and talking about the subject of my book. Although still tentative at the moment (I’m only part way through writing it!), hopefully it will be something to look forward to. I will let you know more as and when, so watch this space…
Until Next Time!

In a Mailonline article, an image was included showing a number of individuals outside the court holding a banner reading “Remember, remember… the 11th of September… thermite, treason and plot”. Richard states that he is suspicious of something with this scenario given that the banner heavily promotes the thermite perspective on 9/11. He also says that the “staging” of those holding the banner appears very premeditated “as if these guys were possibly even working with the photographer from the Mail.” Tony Rooke can be seen in the photo with his hand on the poster. Richard also pointed out Ian Henshall, who appears in the background of certain photos. Henshall promoted the event and wrote reports on his website. He is also responsible for a UK-based group known as “Re-investigate 9/11”.
Henshall sent out emails to people who might be attending the Court Hearing. In one email he said that at least one mainstream media crew would be in attendance. So he knew beforehand that there would be a mainstream media presence in some form. Through Henshall’s email message, Tony Rooke asked attendees beforehand, NOT to talk to the media and NOT to hold up placards “which do not represent his views… activist attending the hearing are asked to make sure that any signs represent the message of his campaign: that the BBC has covered up the truth about 9/11. Those with signs saying anything speculative to a general audience (e.g.: 9/11 was in inside job) would be seen as undermining the court case.”
Richard believes that it shouldn’t be too hard to find out who the people in the photograph (holding the banner) are – after all, the UK 9/11 activist community does not number in the millions. He placed an appeal on his TV show to find out who they were. He had one email reply after the appeal – from Tony Rooke. Rooke told him he was a bit annoyed by the suggestions that there may be a double cover up angle, that Richard was being used by certain parties to put out a false view. Richard replied, asking him why he hadn’t brought the evidence presented by Dr Judy Wood into the courts. Richard also said that he wanted to know who the guys holding up the banner were. “You’re standing their holding the poster with these guys; you must know who they are.”
Rooke replied; “I don’t know who the f*** did what, used what, to do what on 9/11! But I do know the official story stinks. I am very unpopular with a few 9/11 groups because I will not follow Dr Judy Wood, weapons of whatever, or holograms… because I do not care! I have no idea who brought the banner, nor do I know the identity of the man behind the Guy Fawkes mask.”
Richard then decided to email Ian Henshall to see if he could shed any light on the matter, asking him if he knew who made the poster or who was holding it up. Henshall replied: “No. I don’t know who they are. They asked me what I thought of the poster and I said personally I do not think a lot of it, but they should ask Tony. I assumed from this picture that they had Tony’s approval.” Richard emailed him again to thank him for his response and reiterated his desire to identify those in the picture. He asked him if he would send him his distribution list in order to ask people on the list if they knew the identity of those pictured. Richard is still awaiting his reply…
It is curious that Henshall is on record as saying that; “Andrew Johnson is personally the biggest single cause of the collapse of the 9/11 truth campaign in the UK.” Knowing Andrew as I do, I personally find this statement absolutely ludicrous! Richard’s response was simply to press his “bulls*** detector” button! He also noted that Henshall’s father worked for MI5 and his mother also worked for British Intelligence. Curious that…
Richard believes that, at some level, a decision has been made to allow certain aspects of 9/11 research into the mainstream media. Providing it suits the media’s preferred agenda. This raised the larger issue of media control. He discussed 7/7 and the amazingly coincidental circumstances that surrounded Peter Power’s mock terror drill exercises that just happened to take place on the same day, at the same time, in the same locations. Surely just random chance that one!! Richard has been running a long campaign encouraging people to “tell your MP about 7/7”. He was surprised, upon approaching his own MP, to learn that they knew nothing of the evidence that contradicts the 7/7 official narrative.

The only time this appears not to be the case, is when it is a psy-op or contrived from the outset. He also cited the G4S Olympic scandal as an example here, something that started in the alternative media and filtered through to the mainstream.
I have written pages upon pages about the Olympics (from all conceivable angles!) on this website and discussed the G4S aspect in my talk late last year. Although I agree with Richard, the whole build up to the Games reveals something far more bizarre specifically directed at truth seekers. I also have some circumstantial evidence suggesting that certain researchers helped to contrive the initial events, either knowingly or unwittingly.
Another example of cross-pollination between alternative and mainstream media is in the form of ridicule and debunking. Richard talked at length in last year’s tour about the nature of the “hit piece”. He also talked about infiltration of the alternative media with “copycat” radio, internet and TV shows. He is investigating the subject currently but believes he doesn’t have enough evidence yet to fully implicate certain parties. The understanding here is that intelligence agencies and the like, have a real degree of control over the mainstream media now, but they haven’t yet cracked the alternative media – a situation that they seem to be working very hard to correct. Richard noted that the moves are now being made on the internet. This is obvious really given how much exposure to the masses it now gets.

Richard also addressed the possible propulsion system for
some of these craft, utilising some kind of field effect. Through such a
process, it may be possible to create a gravitational effect with mass-like
fields in specific locations to move an object in relation the gravity force.
In 1920, Thomas Townsend Brown patented a gravitator device which was charged
to a high voltage and a force created on an object. Although there was no
anti-gravity effect, he was able to measure the force. Richard also noted the
physicist, Dr Paul A. Laviollette, and his work – “Secrets of Anti-Gravity
Propulsion”. Of course, all this stuff kind of goes over my head a bit! There
is some fascinating research out there worth looking at, just don’t ask me to
explain the science though!!
