75 Years On: The War of the Worlds Psyop - Part 3

Rockefeller Skank
It seems clear that “The War of the Worlds” broadcast was the tool of choice for The Rockefeller Foundation, for specific reasons.  It is also well documented that the Rockefeller family has always taken a specific interest in the phenomenon of mass perception management. However, it didn’t begin with The Mercury Theatre broadcast of October 1938.

In 1914, in Ludlow, Colorado, a group of coalminers began striking over pay and working conditions. Matters took a darker turn when a labour organiser was shot dead by men working for the Colorado Fuel and Iron Corporation – owned by the Rockefeller family. With the cause of the Union of United Mine Workers drawing public attention, the billionaire robber baron John D. Rockefeller dispatched the National Guard to the tent colony - which housed the miners and their families. The National Guard soldiers shot and killed scores of inhabitants living in the colony - including women and children. The details of these events and the implications for P.R. are documented in Scott Noble’s documentary film “Psywar” - http://metanoia-films.org/psywar/
A YouTube version is available here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXg70qJQ6O0

The notorious P.R. baron, Ivy Lee, immediately went to work for the Rockefellers (as a kind of “crisis management” consultant) to manage public perception of the massacre. It was then that the phenomenon of the “press release” was invented. Lee was charged with creating a faux “friendly face” for all Rockefeller owned assets.http://www.corporatewatch.org/?lid=1570

John D Rockefeller handing out dimes
Lee championed disinformation campaigns via news bulletins and set about rebuilding a “mainstream perception” of the Ludlow incident, by convincing the public that the deaths were accidental, as well as discrediting the labour union movement. His attempts were (initially) largely unsuccessful, mostly because he was a highly visible figure with obvious connections to the Rockefeller family. The lesson learned from all this was that P.R. tactics could be very effective, provided they were practiced from the shadows.

The Rockefeller Foundation decided to set aside $100 million for P.R. Lee convinced them to donate sizeable sums of money to colleges, hospitals, churches and charitable organisations to create positive publicity. He encouraged the Rockefellers to personally hand out money in public for the purpose of staged photo opportunities. This orchestrated and strategic act effectively birthed the P.R. industry as we know it today. Into this field stepped the likes of Edward Bernays and Walter Lippmann, who suggested that propaganda would be most effective if the “public mind” were “readjusted”, rather than the system. Thus, perception management was born.

The implications were staggering. Agencies of global governance were put to work, exploring every corner of human psychology. No area was off limits, even (eventually) bolstering the burgeoning phenomenon of state-sponsored mind control research (of which both Bernays and Lippmann had varied connections to) and programming. This was far more than just protecting the public face of elite business families and their assets – it was the beginning of full-spectrum psychological manipulation and control of the masses.

Walt Disney and Werner Von Braun

Whilst connecting the dots between the Rockefeller influence over the pioneering days of the mainstream media and the science of perception management, I have noticed some even more curious aspects. Steven Rockefeller was close friends with Dr Hadley Cantril. Both travelled extensively with Walt Disney, who spent plenty of time in their company. The implications here are important given the connections between the Disney Empire and the military industrial complex, Disney’s alleged role in the state-sponsored mind control phenomenon, and the historical part they have played in perception management.

According to Christopher Knowles, author of the Secret Sun blog, Rockefeller money was also crucial in establishing and maintaining The Esalen Institute. “Esalen is a Rockefeller project. Rockefeller money helped build it, sustain it and grow it. It helped rebuild it after various crises. The Rockefeller in question is the late Laurance Rockefeller, whose very, very deep pockets helped build a New Age Empire in California, including Esalen, the San Francisco Zen Centre, the Lindisfarne Association, the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) and the California Institute of Integral Studies.”http://secretsun.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/secret-star-trek-part-2-unknown-nine.html

Esalen is also home to colonies of Monarch Butterflies!
Esalen connects various new age paradigms to NASA, CIA mind control and psychic spying programs, and (again) the military industrial complex. ‘IONS’ connects in a very similar way, but has an additional association to the energy cover-up. The general conceit is that Laurence Rockefeller appeared (at least on the surface) to be far more esoteric in his interests than those of his other fellow family members. However, surely even he would have been aware of the obvious connections between these outfits and the larger global agenda… He was a Rockefeller after all!

Laurence Rockefeller invested much money in the field of ET/UFO research. He was a principle sponsor of John Edward Mack “an American psychiatrist, writer, and professor at Harvard Medical School. He was a Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer, and a leading authority on the spiritual or transformational effects of alleged alien abduction experiences.”
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_E._Mack

John Edward Mack
In the early 1990s, Mack commenced his decade-plus study of 200 men and women who reported recurrent alien encounter experiences. In May 1994, Harvard Medical School appointed a committee of peers to investigate Mack’s work – unheard of in the history of Harvard. Despite the dogged attempts to delegitimise his work and attempts to close the study down, Mack was (strangely) granted “academic freedom to study what he wishes and to state his opinions without impediment".
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_E._Mack#Investigation

The Centre for Psychology and Social Change (co-founded by Mack and Robert Jay Lifton) received $250,000 a year (allegedly over a four year period) from Laurance Rockefeller. Rockefeller also gave $194,000 to PEER (Program for Extraordinary Experience Research), along with various other donations.http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/esp_cointelpro01i.htm
For further claims about the work of John Mack, see: Gregory M. Kanon, “The Great UFO Hoax” (Lakeville, Minnesota:  Galde Press, 1997)

The X Files
Mack claimed to have received funding from an ex-CIA source and was reportedly heavily involved in the Russian/American exchange at the Esalen Institute. Mack was also a member of Scott Jones’ Human Potential Foundation, also reported to be Rockefeller-endowed. Mack died on September 27th, 2004, under rather curious circumstances.

It has also been suggested that there was a Rockefeller connection to the “The X Files” – the phenomenally successful “UFO/global conspiracy” television series from the 1990s. Although many people will argue till eternity, I do believe that the series ultimately served some form of quasi-limited hangout / plausible deniability platform.

The question of whether it served a global agenda purpose (perhaps in cahoots with certain elite figures – such as The Rockefellers) is a curious one. We do know that John Mack was a consultant to "The X Files" creator, Chris Carter, in the early years of the show. “I found it fascinating to hear this,” Carter said. “This man [Dr. John Mack of Harvard] in the highest levels of academia and a scientist using rigorous scientific methods had come up with something quite astounding. So I thought that was a wonderful entry into explorations of the paranormal. And so I came up with Mulder and Scully, the FBI, and this fictional investigative unit called the X-Files."
Paula Vitaris, “X-Files: Filming the Fox Show That Has Become a Horror and Science Fiction Sensation”. See: http://www.madmags.de/en/archiv/details/paula-vitaris/Paula/vitaris

There are a number of name-checks and references to the Rockefeller Foundation in the show. The season two episode “Little Green Men”, has a scene where Mulder recounts the story of astronomer George Ellery Hale who was visited by a small “elf” creature who told him to go and get money from The Rockefeller Foundation to build a large telescope.
William Sheehan & Donald E. Osterbrock, “Hale's ‘Little Elf’: The Mental Breakdowns of George Ellery Hale”, Journal for the History of Astronomy, p.93

However, I will leave you to your own conclusions as to how much deeper these connections may go.

Finally, it is worth remembering that Laurence Rockefeller took an interest in Dr. Steven Greer’s ET and UFO “Disclosure Project” – into which he invested financial support. Greer also has a loose affiliation with Esalen and the Institute of Noetic Sciences.

The Legacy
It could be argued that early perception management projects, like “The War of the Worlds” psyop, helped to shape contemporary psychological study and influence every existing think-tank of academia. Via these channels, those research projects have ultimately affected the policy making processes of many governments. Such projects have also undoubtedly influenced the press and mainstream media.

It is claimed that the inspiration for “The War of the Worlds” broadcast came from a BBC piece called “Broadcasting the Barricades” transmitted on 16 January 1926, in the early days of radio. The broadcast involved the BBC interrupting an academic lecture from Oxford to announce that rioters had gathered in Trafalgar Square. Rioters went on to tear down the likes of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. This broadcast itself is believed by some people to have been an early example of a media conveyed, experiment in mass public perceptions and reactions - assisted by some of the early Tavistock pioneers.

The success of such a broadcast often lies in the format itself which adds to the realism and psychological reinforcement of the notions being proposed. Orson Welles’ 1938 broadcast had the advantage of being a ‘sustaining show’ (it ran without commercial breaks), adding to the program's “realism”.

The news coverage of 9/11 showed just how effective the studied practice of perception management can be in reinforcing specific notions on a global scale - particularly the relentless “accounting” of the staged events. The technique afforded the viewers no opportunity to remove themselves from the “manufactured reality” being continually asserted. When studied enough, the news footage from the day reveals many similarities with some of the techniques used way back in 1938.

It also seems strange that whenever a new shift in the agenda of global governance has occurred over the last hundred or so years, “The War of the Worlds” re-emergences in the wake of these shifts.

This happened during the early years of the Cold War - in 1953 with Byron Haskin’s big screen version of the story - and after 9/11, with Steven Spielberg’s “re-imagining”. Both appear to dovetail into the perception-managed “fear culture” programming of each respective era. It is a pity that Spielberg ended up directing the latter version in the manner he did; given that he (seemingly) was once a leading figure in American Zoetrope’s so-called “Hollywood Rebellion” of the 1970s, directing such ground-breaking films as "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" and "ET: The Extra Terrestrial".

Perhaps the themes raised in Wells’ story have a much broader significance after all. Whenever I read or hear how the invaders of his piece “slowly and surely, drew their plans against us”, I can’t help but think how the true architects of global dominance have always been much closer, and far more Earthbound, than any Martian creature could ever be!
In my mind, those lines from Wells’ novel will always serve as a much darker metaphor for the true legacy of a seemingly innocent radio broadcast from seventy five years ago.

Until Next Time!

The Star Trek Conspiracy - Part One

“Space… the final frontier!”
These four instantly recognisable words will forever be associated with the phenomenon known as Star Trek. Six shows (a total of 726 episodes) and 11 feature length movies later, the effect of this sci-fi landmark on the minds of millions cannot be underestimated. So powerful is it’s sway, that it has shaped academic careers, created new languages, influenced global policies and created a vision of the future where war, poverty and hatred has been eliminated and all of humanity is equal.

So what happens when the suggestion is raised that not everything about this behemoth is what it appears to be? As with all things that fall into the sphere of mythical archetypes and cults of personality, questioning intent and purpose can be akin to sticking your head inside a bees nest! Holding up mass values and perceptions to the cold light of day can (at best) trigger an instant denial reaction or (at worst) the threat of reprisals. Just take a look at the mass reaction to the ‘Faux Paul’ research in relation to The Beatles…

A superficial look at the possible hidden aspects of Star Trek won’t get you very far. Many of the knee jerk reactions consider that the ‘proof’ can be found in relation to various religious agendas (Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry’s Baptist upbringing in relation to the TV industry in the 1960s) although (in reality) there is very little evidence to substantiate these claims. This doesn’t mean that the idea of a Star Trek ‘agenda’ is unfounded though. In order to get an idea of a possibly larger picture, one needs to play a game of ‘degrees of separation’. Some may say that doing this only shows a bunch of coincidences, but I encourage any open minded person to look at these factors carefully before drawing conclusions.

The first place to start is with Gene Roddenberry. Was he a Freemason?! Many speculate (and even state) that he was a 33rd degree of the Scottish rite, although there appears to be no obvious evidence in this case.  However, this doesn’t rule out a Freemasonic association entirely. It does seem interesting that the initial names of both the ship and captain have some significance. Roddenberry wanted to stick with Captain Pike (a name synonymous with Freemasonry: Albert Pike) although this link is tenuous. More interesting though is the ship itself. Roddenberry was determined, for a considerable amount of time, to name the vessel “Constitution”. Those who have looked into Freemasonic history will know that on March 17th, 1926, Major General Henry Knox lodge was constituted on the gun deck of the US Navy ship “USS Constitution”. More importantly, this was the only Lodge in the world ever to be instituted on an active ship of war. Although the starship name eventually became “Enterprise”, the ship remained a “constitution class starship”.
http://www.phoenixmasonry.org/masonicmuseum/USS_Constitution_Sebastian_Miniature.htm

On a more esoteric level, the original series is littered with (what some refer to as “illuminati”) symbolism. Whilst many will argue for eternity about the true inferences of the Vulcan “live long and prosper” salute, more revealing examples can be found. The similarity of both the Starfleet uniform patch and the Vulcan IDIC pin to the Pyramid and ‘all seeing eye’ is a little strange. Indeed, the origin of the IDIC pin is explained in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode – “The Forge” – as an attainment of heightened knowledge upon reaching the summit of Mount Seleya on Vulcan. The Pyramid is also witnessed as a hand gesture on several occasions in one episode of the original series and in costume designs and set pieces throughout the original run. Jack the Ripper (freemasonic undercurrents) was also integral to the plot of the episode: “Wolf in the Fold”.

This alleged connection between Roddenberry and Freemasonry is mere peanuts compared to the more extensively documented associations that he would have during his life. His connections with all branches of the military/industrial/ scientific complex, and various political arenas, were vast to say the least. He had contact with several high profile figures in the United Nations which, he admitted, played a huge part in influencing his notion of an all-encompassing “Federation” of various nations/planets who ruled “benevolently” over countless individuals. This influence is clearly noted in the similarities between the flags of the UN and United Federation of Planets.

Andrija Puharich
This may not have been the only influence on the “Federation” concept though. From (at least) the mid-1970s, Roddenberry became associated with a little known group called “Lab9”. According to Lynn Picknett & Clive Prince (authors of “The Stargate Conspiracy”), Lab9 was a research facility based in New Jersey and was the brainchild of American Army physician and parapsychologist Andrija Puharich. “They included scientists interested in the interface between quantum physics and consciousness besides members of super-rich families, politicians and writers.” (“Behind the Mask: Aliens or Cosmic Jokers?” by Picknett & Prince)

Lucille Ball
Puharich is infamous in alternative research. His ‘Round Table Foundation’ (of the early 50s) was funded by the likes of the Wallace Foundation (Henry A. Wallace, Vice President of the USA under Franklin D. Roosevelt), the Forbes family, the Astor dynasty, etc. He was also notoriously involved with various aspects of the CIA’s MK projects and ‘psychic spying’ efforts (‘An Evaluation of the Possible Usefulness of Extrasensory Perception in Psychological Warfare’ – 1952). Puharich will also forever be associated with the idea of “tooth implants”. “One of Puharich's hearing aids is called the "tooth radio", which is literally implanted inside of a person's tooth.” As a curious aside, Star Trek could never have gotten off the ground without the backing of Desilu Studios. Desilu was owned by Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball. Ball famously stated that she once heard Japanese Military radio transmissions in her tooth fillings… Strange coincidence that!

Roddenberry was recruited into Lab9 by former racing driver: Sir John Whitmore. Through his involvement with this group, Roddenberry came into contact with Phyllis Schlemmer – a psychic channeller – who conveyed alleged messages from the ‘Council of Nine’. The Nine are allegedly an extra-terrestrial/extra-dimensional outfit, who claim  to have played a huge role in influencing the affairs of humanity for a very long time. The nature and credibility of The Nine has been interpreted and studied in a vast variety of ways by esoteric researchers, which in turn has muddled what little we know of Lab9’s attempts to understand/cover-up the concept. It remains a fascinating (if slightly speculative) phenomenon never the less. The ultimate fate of Lab9 remains shrouded in mystery. There are claims that the New Jersey complex burned to the ground in 1979 amidst a flurry of alleged accusations of child related abuse. How much of this is true is anybody’s guess…

"The Eye of the Universe" Aka - The Bajoran Wormhole
Roddenberry (through Lab9) found kindred spirits in SRI (Stanford Research Institute), Esalen and The Institute of Noetic Sciences.  His fascination with alternative concepts continued throughout his life. Even in the 1980s, he was documented as working on Trek related projects with the likes of Sean David Morton – of ‘Dulce’/Area 51 fame.  The influence of his Lab9 experiences continues to be seen in his latter science fiction creations such as his aborted “Planet Earth” pilot and the series “Earth: Final Conflict”. It is also apparent in latter Trek (even if only by influencing those who carried the “Trek” mantle after his death): 9 “TNG” cast members, 9 (with Worf) “DS9” cast members, 9 “Voyager” cast members, Deep Space 9, 9 Bajoran Orbs, the wormhole as home to celestial beings (“The Prophets”) who are revered as gods by the Bajorans, the list goes on…

Many, including Schlemmer, have claimed that Roddenberry was very in tune with the concept of The Nine, long before his association with Puharich… possibly as early as the creation of Star Trek. The proof of this is obvious really. References to Telos, Vinod, The Archons, Sargon (The Saturn Cult), “NCC 1701” (1+7+0+1 = 9) and numerous others are abundant throughout the original series. Amongst the proposed scripts for the original series pilot, the aborted 1970’s series: Star Trek – Phase 2, and Star Trek: The Motion Picture is a concept that Roddenberry tried desperately to realise. This was the story of an external force that influenced humanity from outside our perceptual sphere and hides behind a “godlike” concept.  The early drafts of the first motion picture were named “The God Thing” and seem to reinforce Roddenberry’s belief that humanity would be better off abandoning religion altogether. Star Trek is often labelled “technology unchained”… in other words, ‘Science’ (Mainstream Science) is the only game in town. This can potentially be as narrow a perspective as faith in a dogmatic organised religion… especially in the hands of those with a hidden agenda.

Matilda O'Donnell MacElroy
Curiously (and as a postscript to the “Nine” narrative), I recently sat up and paid attention to some strange factors highlighted in the book “Alien Interview”, which is built around the accounts of Matilda O'Donnell MacElroy – who claimed to have interviewed an alien during the Roswell Incident of 1947. The book has several references to the concept of the “Council of Nine” and mention of a symbol that was ‘shown’ to her by the creature. The symbol is used throughout the design of the book and is eerily identical to the Starfleet insignia. Was it inspired by “The Nine” or was the Starfleet logo simply used to embellish MacElroy’s account? The above highlighted section has been revised. For full details see the comments section below with points raised by "Alien Interview" Editor and Publisher Lawrence R. Spencer and a response from myself. Alternatively, you can see my follow up article here: http://thetruthseekersguide.blogspot.co.uk/2015/09/comments-by-lawrence-r-spencer-editor.html

Roddenberry’s connections to the agenda players seemed to operate on many levels. Despite his fierce opposition to violence and militaristic values, Star Trek courted many in the Military/Industrial Complex… most notably NASA. It is interesting to note the involvement of Robert Wise as director on the first feature. Wise also helmed “The Andromeda Strain” and “The Day the Earth Stood Still”. Both films are relevant to alternative researchers, particularly the latter – in relation to The Brookings Report and the suggestions of a perceptual management programme of UFOs/ETs in the media from the 1950s onward. NASA was integral to The Brookings Report and the perceptual agenda that was carried forward from then on.

There’s also some peculiar imagery in that first movie. The NASA probe Voyager 6 sits at the heart of an almost megalithic structure in the closing moments of the film. The similarity between this imagery and the early designs for the Apollo 16 mission patches are bizarre to say the least!

During the 1960s, whilst envisioning the original ‘Starfleet’ technology, Roddenberry extensively consulted JPL scientists, Douglas and Lockheed engineers, USAF and RAND experts, and the engineers who worked on NASA’s unmanned space probe program. The Enterprise bridge design attracted the attention of the US Navy, who dispatched three officers to the Star Trek soundstages. They were given extensive access and design blueprints, as well as the accumulated notes gathered from JPL, NASA, etc. A year later, Trek designer Matt Jeffries was contacted by the US Navy to thank him for his help. It appears that those original design notes became the touchstone for the creation of the then classified Naval Communications Centre in San Diego.

Top: Colin Powell on set in 1990
Bottom: Post 9/11 - Anthrax farce
Even toward the end of his life, the connections remained apparent. In 1990, the “Star Trek: The Next Generation” character of Wesley Crusher (played by Wil Wheaton) was promoted to full ensign. Roddenberry was joined on set by General Colin Powell (then Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff) to present Wheaton with Roddenberry’s own military ensign bars.

Roddenberry gained the moniker “The Great Bird of the Galaxy” (“Great Bird” is an important aspect of freemasonic imagery – the great carrier of knowledge) and, despite his instrumental role in Star Trek, he is often given an all-encompassing position in Trek lore. It should be noted though that this driving force was only there for the original 60s series (reduced significantly in the third season), the first motion picture and the first few seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

It remains undetermined what his true aims were with Star Trek. He is known to have favoured Science Fiction as a means to comment on the human condition because these hidden messages often escaped the censors. In this regard, he was no stranger to the concept of subliminal messages. Was his agenda to expose or conceal? Was Star Trek a form of predictive programming designed to acclimatise humanity for an oncoming “New World Order”, or an eventual form of disclosure? It is difficult to say.
It is possible that he was akin to a poor man’s Kubrick – conscientious, even though he was (to an unknown degree) on the inside. By his own admission, he was no angel and led a very colourful life. Many accused him of being a plagiarist who lifted ideas from others left, right and centre. To followers of Star Trek, he is often considered a visionary of a peaceful, utopian future. I suspect the reality to be considerably less black and white…

On October 24, 1991, Gene Roddenberry died at the age of 70. By this point, the “Trek” franchise had been commandeered by two groups of people (the movie and TV arms respectively), with a third group assuming control more recently. Via these groups, the franchise has been reshaped (in some respects) to suit more contemporary media agendas. However, it has also expanded upon Roddenberry’s connections to become a virtual recruiting tool for aspects of the military/industrial/scientific complex – especially NASA.
I will look at these aspects in part two.

See you then!

Movements...

If truth were a tangible place, like a town or city, it would be a very dangerous place to live! Despite appearing like a utopian destination and for all the benefits and worth of getting there, there would be times when it would erupt into a bloody showdown like an old western frontier town. Other times you might feel like you were living in one of those Soviet based, mock American towns of the 50s or The Village – the one immortalised by the excellent 60s show: The Prisoner. Problems are always made by people though. The place is enormously incidental.

Truth is almost always a contrivance, utilised by some as a means to manipulate and understood subjectively by others. We can partly blame the way our conscious/subconscious mind interprets information and our ‘trust’ in the source of it, some we can blame on our predispositions and bias, the rest of the blame lies firmly at the feet of those who understand perfectly how to manipulate these psychological processes in others.

The architects of the hidden state of global affairs are singularly powered by the vast majority of humanity’s ignorance (of a situation), mass apathy or willingness to just let them get on with it. There are those that are a little more informed or proactive though. Knowledge really is power, but how can you be sure that you really do ‘know’? And if you ever do ‘know’, how do you decide to act on it?

Large scale realisations have always spawned large scale
reactions and thus, a movement is always born. History is replete with examples. From the Suffragettes and the New Age movement to Anti-War and 9/11, mass social stirrings become driven by the promise of justice, enlightenment or change.  The driving forces of these movements are decent, honest and well-intentioned people who want to make the world a better place. Without them there could be no movement. But is it naïve to think that these movements have been created solely from a collective sense of conscience? That everybody shaping, developing and driving them are equally as honourable as those with the best of intentions?

Sadly, history also shows us that certain individuals and groups have played a hand in the nature of these movements. It shows us that while some movements have been co-opted and usurped at some stage, others have been created or instigated by agents of the global agenda players (for one reason or another) and given what we know about these agenda players, we can only assume that their intentions were not to benefit the social majority.

In the 1960s, those opposed to the war in Vietnam were gaining momentum in bringing the injustice and hypocrisies of the conflict to the world’s attention. It became the mandate of western intelligence and military organisations to do everything they could to infiltrate and discredit those who had the ability to sway public opinion, and distract the rest. The exposure of the MKULTRA project era alone, shows how intelligence agency sourced LSD was introduced far and wide into society with the intention (amongst others) of disassociating many from their political activism.

As for those with a visible anti-war profile (writers, artists and musicians), a leaked memorandum dated April 26th 1976 shows how several government branches were tasked with painting these individuals as “scurrilous and depraved”, highlight their “living conditions and habits” and attempt to discolour their character with sexual indiscretions, drug charges, planting narcotics, sending in women to break up marriages, misinformation (to confuse and disrupt) and alerting the media to their activities. They even obtained handwriting specimens to fake documents, enflamed existing personal conflicts and animosities, and provoked rival groups in the hope of inciting hostilities and murders. (see: “The Covert War Against Rock” – Alex Constantine)

The Cointelpro days of the 60s and 70s are extensively documented, with everything from The Black Panthers to the Yippies being infiltrated by various agency. Officially, this infiltration was justified in order to protect the larger public from “disruptive subversion”. In reality, much of their activities involved agitating members of these various groups, often pitting them against each other through various forms of subterfuge (such as blackmail.)

On the other side of the spectrum, the apolitical New Age
movement was equally exposed to subversion via agencies such as the FBI, CIA and NSA. During the early 70s, institutions such as Esalen made it possible for a huge increase in the number of agents to infiltrate the “human potential” movement.

These are just a few examples of the global players utilising their apparatus to redirect the power of the masses.

In recent times, we have learned (all too painfully) how governments have advanced agendas by getting everybody on board with a certain belief system. 9/11 was the conduit through which the mantra of “threats” from new “global enemies” could dogmatise the masses into accepting not only wars of aggression, occupation of foreign countries and policies of “regime change”, but also sweeping changes that curtailed individual rights and freedoms.

The West (particularly NATO countries) has also taken huge liberties with the desire for freedom that has grown out of the post-9/11 world. There have been claims that many of the uprisings of 2011 were infiltrated by "agent provocateurs”. According to former CIA counterterrorist analyst Michael Scheuer, the US intelligence agency gave training and logistical support to the anti-Gaddafi “resistance” and that “Obama secretly authorised this covert operation.”

Of course, this is nothing new. You need only research Operation Gladio to understand the extent to which these operations have been carried out in the past. Gladio was a “far-right secret army, operated by the CIA and MI6 through NATO, which killed hundreds of innocent Europeans and attempted to blame the deaths on Baader Meinhof, Red Brigades and other left wing groups. Known as 'stay-behinds' these armies were given access to military equipment which was supposed to be used for sabotage after a Soviet invasion. Instead it was used in massacres across mainland Europe as part of a CIA Strategy of Tension. Gladio killing sprees in Belgium and Italy were carried out for the purpose of frightening the national political classes into adopting U.S. policies.” (see: BBC Documentary, “Timewatch: Operation Gladio”, 1992, Director Allan Frankovich) The “Timewatch” documentary (surprising for the BBC… although it was pre-9/11) shows in detail how Gladio was a quintessential example of cointelpro / agent provocateur strategy.

The aftermath of 9/11 has also had the effect of mobilising popular opinion. One of the few examples of an effective social mobilisation appeared in the fallout from the invasion of Iraq and the WMD farce. Millions of people took to streets of numerous cities to protest against an illegal war. The sheer outrage against government policies and particular individuals, such as Bush and Blair, reminded the powers that be of the potential threat from genuine people power...  something which scared them witless.

The 21st century is a curious time for truth. More people are now waking up to the reality of a hidden history / global truth and the alternative community has become a force to be reckoned with. For possibly the first time, a battleground of sorts has appeared with various psychological weaponry, infiltration and armaments being deployed on all sides. As much as we might want to think in terms of black and white, good and evil, goodies and baddies, there have never really been any clearly defined boundaries in truth… especially now.

With the power of the movement now stronger than ever, there are some very controversial questions to ask. It is becoming a question of “pick your side”, rather than “what do you think?” This kind of boxed mentality makes ‘Truth’ a very dangerous place indeed… recognising and questioning it, even more so. Never the less, these questions are a responsibility of truth. Why does enlightenment need to have a representative middleman? They say that the truth speaks for itself, so why all of a sudden does it need to be led by the hand?

Questioning the nature and intentions of certain individuals in modern
movements is like opening Pandora’s Box. Every question asked by a researcher about facets of 9/11 Truth or The Occupy Movement often invites attack or counter questions of personal intentions. Yet these are important questions to ask. Andrew Johnson’s book “9/11 – Finding the Truth” raises some very important questions about the connections between certain prolific researchers and assorted military/industrial complex players and their associates. It also shows a clear and multi-pronged attack upon those supporting the idea of a connection between 9/11 and directed free-energy technology (specifically the work of Dr Judy Wood.)

“Nanomanagement: The Disintegration of a Non-Profit Corporation” by Michael Armenia discusses (albeit from a biased perspective) the collapse of ‘Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth’. Appendix C (page 236) includes the March 12, 2009 draft of the “Volunteer Vetting Procedures” of those wishing to be involved with the group. These extensive investigation procedures specify being careful to watch for those who could potentially be destructive for the movement. The ‘destructive’ criteria include those who have researched “no planes”, “directed energy weapons” and “Judy Wood.” Why is this so? ‘No-planers’ and ‘DEW’ researchers have something crucial to bring to any legitimate investigation of 9/11. Is this the reason why they are side-lined, attacked or discredited?

I’ve heard it said that in order to get ‘non-truthers’ to take 9/11 seriously, the research needs to stay within the realms of possible /plausible reality. Only a cursory look at the directed free-energy research (relating to 9/11) shows something perfectly possible or plausible. The ramifications of this area of study are huge, maybe that’s the point. Such knowledge would need to be discredited and kept from mass public awareness, and therefore imply the necessity for subversion in some areas of 9/11 truth.

More recently, many have started to cast an eye over
aspects of the Occupy movement. Although it is much harder to point to specific concerns (unlike 9/11), it is hard to ignore the recent alleged connections between Occupy and say: George Soros, Adbusters, The Lucis Trust, and Ivan Marovic and Srdja Popovic . The last two chaps are intricately associated with OPTOR/CANVAS (Centre For Applied Non-violent Action And Strategies), which was founded as a “non-violent revolutionary group” by Serbians and responsible for driving the uprising that overthrew Slobodan Milosevic in the late 90s/early 2000s.

Popovic claims that CANVAS is 100% privately funded with no involvement from the US government, yet it is alleged by many that OTPOR/CANVAS has become a powerful CIA front, creating the model for popular global uprisings. William Engdahl claims that OTPOR now operates as “revolutionary consultants” in over 50 countries and is geared toward finding ways to instigate “regime change”.

Numerous individuals have come out in support of Occupy and spoken at various rallies. It is worth noting that some of these folk are big in the alternative world, yet whenever they take to these platforms of expression, they fail to even mention 9/11 or any other ‘bigger picture’ issues. Interesting that…

On a more esoteric level, we have the likes of Kanye West (with his Rockefeller connections) spouting on about Occupy. The use of the human loudspeaker system (with its repetitive slogan aspect) and the bizarre uptake of the pyramid hand sign at rallies (allegedly symbolising a ‘point of procedure’ or something like that).

Also remember that Occupy was (in order)
totally ignored the mainstream media, then totally ridiculed, then labelled as a union-sponsored, anti-free market, pro-Marxist movement. Nowadays Occupy is often compared to the Tea Party and (much as it was) labelled as a “grassroots” movement… a buzzword that we should be very suspicious of. It almost appears as though it has now become credible in the eyes of the MSN and anything MSN speaks favourably about should be eyed very warily. I am always extremely cautious when the media changes their tune about something, let alone four times! There are also several pieces of footage floating around on the internet that show staged, small scale protests for the benefit of the cameras. One such piece was broadcast on RT, omitting the cue to the cameraman at the beginning.

I suspect the origins of Occupy to be largely benign in nature, but this still doesn’t exclude the possibility of infiltration. It is well documented that the US Department of Homeland Security has already classified the Occupy movement as a “potential security risk”. Similar observations have been made by several western government agencies. They wouldn’t say such things and then let them just get on with it. It would actually be naïve to think that Occupy hasn’t already been infiltrated. The question is: to what extent?

Before I am accused of sounding totally damning, I must make it clear that I have nothing against movements. I wrote, back in October, about the pride I felt when watching Occupy take to the streets across countless cities around the world. Social uprisings can change the world in wonderful ways. However, the voice of the few that starts to represent the many is exactly the same as that which we fight to expose. These people who steer or micromanage a cause (even with the best of intentions) can so easily be misdirected, misinformed or even corrupted.

So what does this say about our little “town called truth” then?

In order to decide what to do and how to act, we must first learn. As I pointed out in the first paragraph, the problems all stem from people. Unfortunately, there is no such thing as an original thought. To learn, we must study what others have already accumulated and it is here that personal agendas (good and bad) can get in the way.  We all know that there are high profile individuals (researchers & authors in the alternative community) who are slanted by an extreme left/right political perspective, xenophobic tendencies or spiritual/religious leanings. This is a shame because within their bias lies some well researched, important and factual information. If people fail to separate stance from facts, they can be so easily and blindly led… even when it seems like a just cause.

No matter how enlightened we think we may be, remember that we are only the hair of gnat’s knacker away from sheep! The facts remain that, with regard to our cognitive processes, we either want to be led or need to be from time to time and in the case of early age it is a practical necessity that literally forms those processes.

Despite all this, it is important to keep in
mind that you only as powerful or awake as you want to be. It takes time but it gets easier the more you do it. A little common sense (not in the traditional sense!!) can go a long way. Learn all you can lay your hands. Get in the faces of the knowledge bearers and ask questions, get them to point you to all the places that inspired / informed them and make up your own mind. If you don’t ask, you won’t get… and never be ashamed of asking. With enough wisdom, you’ll know how to act and when. You’ll know when it is the right time to say “NO!”

Until next time…
